Here in Iowa we LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEE Aldi I didn't realize they were that far south and if you get a job with Aldi you end up retiring from there because that company treats their employees so well you just don't want to ever leave

You put soooooooo much time and effort into your family care. What a great mom, wife, daughter and granddaughter.

I literally jam to “human after all” every time and I have no shame

I never heard of a christmas eve box before, it's pretty cool idea. I set up new tradition this yr, for grandkids, of a Christmas cookie baking day. Only 1 of 4 grandkids came, but hopefully next year. He had a great time and so did my daughter & I, this will be a great tradition

That is the kind of grandma I hope to be! I made gingerbread and oatmeal cookies this year with my 8 and 5 year old boys. We usually make more but they are on the hyper side. 😂

What a cute tradition, to tear open the box with feet only. I'm not from USA so I don't know about this one but it sounds like a fun one. 😊

It’s so odd, Kim’s “future” is now our past. 😂 we already know that she’ll love that cheese fudge. 😆

We are in christmas hangover mode over here. With three kids there are new toys everywhere! We finally got all the wrapping paper and toy packaging picked up, yay! I usually get all bummed when christmas ends so I decided this year I'm going to stay in the christmas spirit as long as I want. I'm drinking out of my Santa mug and I have no intention of taking down any of my christmas decor until February!

Instead of spaghetti sauce when I want a quick dinner I do a whole stick of butter, a million cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, the bark dust Parmesan cheese and a pound of spaghetti noodles 😅 sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I put bagged Parmesan on it too

Yes I agree about Aldi that’s one reason I rarely go is they never have everything I need and I have to stop two stores and by I’ve shopped one I’m usually done so I prefer to just spend more money and get it all in one go.

ALDI is like Treader Joe’s It’s more of a specialty store and you go there to find unique items and of course pick up the essentials (if they have them) because they are usually the cheapest price IF they have what you’re looking for ALDI and Trader Joe’s are owned by German brothers and I’ve noticed some of the Trader Joe exclusives have been repackaged and now sold at ALDI for a cheaper price It’s great for those of us that don’t have a TJ’s nearby ALDI also has a ton of imported from Europe specialty foods that are all amazing All the non food items are quality as well so the treasure hunting there is legit lol Also they do German week twice a year and bring in a ton of delicious German imported foods! It’s awesome! ALDI is definitely a gem if you know how to use it lol

I make chilli cheese dip with the velveeta. Microwave your cubed velveeta in the microwave and stir. Once it starts melting add a can of hormel chilli no beans and continue microwaving and stiring until combined. Use tostito scoops. Total crowd pleaser and so easy. Good for anytime of the year.

You can boil the pineapple peel and core add honey or sugar (optional) drain it and put it in the fridge and drink it cold (or hot) it’s delicious!!
