i was two when i started riding and ever since i new this was what i live for and still waiting patiently for my horse i can love a care a train.....

I know the is a while back but these have got to be the best reactions I've seen on here. What beautiful polite kids you have raised. You must be so proud of them.

My kids went to the stable for horse camp and got to know the horses. They love the horses there so we told them that we would go see the horses and give them a Christmas present. When we were there they met their present from their grandparents.

Walmart.... Funny dad. Lucky girl. I remember my first horse on Christmas Eve 1972. I was 10 years old. Every little girls dream who loves horses.

Whenever I see these videos, I cry. Can't help it! To all the people dismissing these kids as ungrateful/unappreciative, I think it's pure shock more than anything. I know when my trainer was like "Well, he's yours" to me about my horse, it was the most delayed reaction ever. Took me well into my lesson to realize what was going on, then I had to stop in the middle of the arena to start crying. :P Plus, jumping up and down/screaming is probably unappreciated by the present

I think you did an awesome surprise to your kids. A horse is a big responsibility, so in my opinion one horse for three kids and their parents is a great solution. I hope you've had a wonderful christmas morning and an amazing time with your newest family member^^

You have to remember that the video was cut off after a few minutes. After the initial shock passed she was and has been very grateful. You also must remember that everyone has a different personality. That is what makes our world wonderful.

I remember when we got our own ponies. My sister, brother and I all got black Shetland ponies one Christmas.

Ok guys, I'm the one in the purple jacket, my dad owns this channel. And I saw some arguing, just to clear everything up, before we got him we DID ride before in lessons, camps and we leased a horse too before they bought him for us and we still do ride. My dad really does not post videos of me riding on his channel but check out mine I have all my videos on horses!!!

I would not complain if I were surprised with a horse. I would love every moment of it! As they say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. There are a only a few select people that I know that might ever attempt it if they were to so choose, and I would trust their judgement. I don't see it happening though with the price of hay and everything. My Grandfather bought a horse for my mother years ago when she was a girl and Mom really loved that horse. It turned out just right for her.

It could be that the girl in blue had picked up some sort of clue before hand that they were getting a horse. There were a few times where I picked up on clues too and I am can remember expressing the fact that I knew I was getting something at least once it seems. I didn't mean it ungratefully, I meant it excitedly. Now that I am grown, I'd rather have a surprise be a surprise. It's disappointing to me now to find out a surprise or even a clue beforehand. It takes away from the surprise.
