From December 9, 2023 to January 8, 2024, in the center of St. Petersburg, you can go to the winter fairy tale, where a festive atmosphere reigns throughout the day. After all, a Christmas fair has been launched on Manezhnaya Square, which offers visitors a number of entertainment.
For a whole month in the city center, you can visit the fabulous Confetenburg, where everything is full of lollipops, gingerbread, lemonade fountains and of course there is a huge Christmas tree. When decorating the fair, the decorators focused on Hoffmann's popular fairy tale "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King".
On the territory of the fair there are scattered locations for memorable photos: a brightly illuminated carriage, a huge clock with frozen hands at 23:55, a Christmas living room with a fireplace, an alley with beautifully decorated garlands of trees runs parallel to the skating rink, there are a couple of zones with dozens of Christmas trees and of course in the house of Santa Claus you can take photos with him and the snow maiden.
If we talk about the arrangement of the Christmas Market in 2023, then it can be conditionally divided into three locations.
1. The first one is located on Malaya Sadovaya Street, here a bright festive fountain made of garlands was installed in Nakhala. Behind it, on the sides of the street there are houses with souvenirs and various New Year's goods.
2️⃣ The second location is located on Manezhnaya Square. There are already Gingerbread houses stylized as a fairy tale, Santa Claus's House, the main Christmas tree of the fair, photo zones, the main stage and houses with souvenirs. It is in this location that a small train runs, which drives everyone.
3. The third location is located on Maple Street and here, in addition to food courts, there is a Venetian carousel and an open-air ice rink, admission to which is free on a first-come, first-served basis. next to the skating rink there is a photo area - a Christmas living room with a fireplace.
