@@alexisluxurytravels1 yes I visited back in 2010… they had quite a strict dress code, only allowing men to enter with a suit jacket 🤭 but definitely a lovely place, so much old world charm. I would love to see the Paris Ritz! Is it your favourite hotel in the world?

Wonderful video! Thank you so much for introducing us to fantastic hotels! But oh, the crowds in Paris during Christmas 😮!! I stayed in the area and it was really hard to walk around, especially in the evenings. But nothing beats the decoration and lights of Paris ❤

Oh, Alexis, this is a belated (in my case, Chanukah) gift. Between George v and the Ritz - think you pretty much have privileged Paris covered. So dear, when in your caption upon first showing us the room, you write, "I'm loving it! " That was the exact sense I perceived when you stepped out of the cab in to the lobby upon first entering. Your camera rhythms are usually slower, and initially they were speedier, which I thought to be your excitement. -Don't blame you. PS That *view/scale of window, placement of window in that second full bath is a total, exciting stunner. I'm "loving this," Alexis, and I thank you.

Thank you for sharing You stay there at the Ritz. You walk around in the evening looked very nice for Christmas. The design symbols in the buildings were so nice. The Christmas Trees were to cute. And the people shoppers were out. But yes, after a while it is nice to start walking back to the hotel to relax. It has been a while since I have walked around there in Paris, France. My friends use to always take to the Diana, Princess of Wales sight memorial and overpass bridge area. Then we would go over to the Norte Dame area to eat at a nice restaurant.

We were at the Ritz for a few days right after you were there. It was our first time staying there and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Charles de Galles Suite which was lovely. The only weird thing was our windows were so high that we had no view of Place Vendome. Next time you go back to Paris you must stay at Le Grand Controle Airelles Versailles. It was the most magical place we’ve ever stayed and the service was second to none. It made us feel like we were living in the 1700’s.

We’re going back and I thought we’d try to stay where you did so we have the balcony and the view. Also, what’s your favorite place to stay in London? We stayed at The Savoy in a River View Suite but we were thinking we’d try the Corinthia next. Just thought I’d pick your brain since you are an avid “luxury” traveler. Thanks Alexis!

Should be easy - when booking simply describe the unique location/character of the suite such as centrally located at the end of the garden with full view of it, 3 balconies, 2 entrances, 1 king bed, curved wall, blue color theme. There might not be another one like it since the hotel has no two identical suites with exact same layout or color, or so I've been told. Haven't been to London since it's not part of my region, France and Italy are - feel free to ask me about France (Paris, French Riviera...Monaco, St. Jean Cap Ferrat) or Italy (Lake Como, Rome, Milan, Venice). Looked up Corinthia, though - seems lovely...modern, plush, warm and inviting...I like. Anyway, any further checking would deplete my brain haha! Good luck with the Ritz, have fun with the Corinthia!!

@@alexisluxurytravels1 We love Lake Como! We stayed at Villa d’Este and really enjoyed it. We’ll go back as soon as we get a chance. We really want to go to the South of France so before we do I’ll pick your brain about where to stay and what to do. I wasn’t aware the suites were all different at The Ritz. Have you stayed at the Crillon Paris? We’re thinking of trying that at the end of this year. We’re definitely going back to Arielles Le Grand Controle Versailles too since we loved it so much. This suite was an upgrade since I'm a repeat guest - so yes, the hotel did treat me fabulously. And I think that's one of the reasons these properties remain on top of their games - they know how to treat their guests right.

@@yvr2002rtw The top suites typically are not available for upgrades, but I might get lucky haha! I prefer the garden view over the Place Vendome, since it's quieter and more relaxing. I think this suite has the best of both worlds: Place Vendome right out front and a beautiful/tranquil garden to return to.

@@alexisluxurytravels1 Apparently the suite you got has the exactly same layout as one of their prestige suites, the Hemmingway Suite (which costs a lot more per night) a couple floors below yours!

Hello Alexis. I took your recommendation and went back and re watched your vlog. You purchased a lip liner from Chanel and some beautiful black booties, so I figured it out. I checked your profile as I was looking for an email address where I could send you a private emai or an Instagram where I can send you a DM. l have watched every Vlog, some multiple times. Hello Kim! Don't know what's going on here but surely I did reply to you a while back, only to find out today that there's none! Thank you so much for being so sweet. I don't have Instagram...simply too busy to tend to one more portal 🙃 I am terrible at making promises and keeping appointments so maybe we'll just run into each other in Paris by chance, wouldn't that be wild? Suite Charlie Chaplin would be nice - I love the pastel green, plus it doesn't seem too busy like most other prestige suites. Here's the glitch: they're super expensive, one night there is worth many nights at the lesser suites, and I don't do one night stay haha 🤣 Glad you're having fun. Welcome to my channel!!

I wanted to ask you if you and your family are safe after all the rain in Northern California? Years ago, I lived and worked in Riverside, California. I live in Warsaw, Poland since 2019. I’ve never seen this much rain in California before. Thank you so much for your vlog.
