I love your old world home...absolutely beautiful. My family owned a lot of nice things i wish i owned now. .but I was too young at the time to realize it..things like a authentic German clock with a glass globe..my aunt read by a gas lamp. & every indoor door knob in my grandmoms home were made of glass.. thanks for letting us look at all the fun & beautiful things you have in your home.

Ooooh, you are getting me in the mood to take down Halloween! LOL! I really like the idea of putting the village houses up on books to add varied height, and I also really like the candle lights on the tree, though they must be a pain to attach each one perfecly straight on the branches. Thanks Bunnymomjulie! The candle lights weren't too bad - they pivot slightly at the base so you just have to get them close when you clip them on the branches and then you can just straighten them the rest of the way :) - Christopher

Chris, I have watched most of your videos. I finally saw this one after watching the Christmas video in your new home. I am awestruck about how you have decorated both houses in a totally different way. Your attention to detail is inspiring. Your eclectic blend of old and new is very refreshing. I also find your videos very soothing to watch. Nothing is rushed. You explain clearly all the items displayed in your soft voice that adds to the videos. I love primitive, Victorian, French and really believe that if you love something you can make it work. For several years now I have not been able to decorate for Christmas and this year is no exception. A series of events have kept me from being able to decorate but next year I am going to start early and will borrow several of your ideas. I love the village tree and the vintage Christmas postcard tree. I have collected vintage postcards for some time and usually display them under the glass on my table.
