I got a early gift seeing Desi. My heart is happy. My lil princess kitty is sleeping next to me. My gift giving is so little and I actually do not get any gifts. Maybe a friend might feel like something small to me. So what I do is keep 25.00 gift cards in my purse. And when I see someone who looks hardworking or sad. I smile and say merry christmas.

Yes, we live in a throw away society. Everything from paper plates to small appliances. Nobody fixes things anymore! Look at the landfills. We are running out of space! Even some relationships are ended because it's easier than investing in the hard work of becoming healthier. Granted, some should not stay together. I've heard it said that if you can count your friends on one hand you are truly blessed! Hope you have a happy & blessed Christmas!!! 🌻 ❤

Dear Susan, I have been watching so many of your videos for such a long time and finally I am getting the courage to comment. Things that you have said struck a cord with me and have reminded me I am not the only one with things that have happened in my life. The one video that you made about forgiving yourself about the relationship between you and your son was so hard for me to watch because I am in a similar situation and he just won’t forgive me so I don’t have much of a relationship with him no matter how hard I have tried. It is just so painful for me. I am turning 65 in April and I have no one except my little dog. To get through my rough spots I have been trying to do things to try and make myself happier. I started a new job in March selling cruises which is a full-time job. Towards the end of August I decided I was going to add to my seasonal decorations and updated my decorations for the fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, winter and Valentines. No one ever comes over to my two bedroom condo that I am renting and when I tell people at work about my decorating and show them pictures they think I am crazy because I am the only one living there and nobody ever really comes over. I just simply explain how happy it makes me when I walk in and see how beautiful my condo looks for the season and how good it makes me feel inside. I am doing things for myself that make me happy, that I can enjoy and look forward to on my way home. Being on a dating site and not getting anywhere, I went to an event last night and met people. it felt so good to get all dressed up. Also, for the first time I had my hair dyed this month to cover up all the gray. People at work that hardly ever even speak with me came over to me to tell me how great they thought I looked. You have inspired me to be brave enough to try and create changes in my life to help me create a better life and happier life for myself. Thank you for opening up to your audience and sharing your life with us. Your true honesty and sharing of such personal experiences you have had with us has really helped more than you know. Thank you and God bless.

Lovely video. Your discussion about how someone's lack of ability to say I love you profoundly affects those who need to hear it. My parents told me they loved me, and I am forever grateful for that. They weren't perfect, but I knew I was loved. That is just about the most important thing we give each other. Thank you for your insights.

I think people our age came from a generation where our parents didn’t always tell us that they loved us. I knew my parents loved me because of the way I was cared for, and I didn’t expect them to be emotional about saying I love you out loud.

One of my favorite parts was when you ask your friend to give you his sexiest look. Cracked me up!

My doberman girl of 13 1/2 years passed this last June. I miss her so. You make me smile every time I listen to you. And instead of puting on that sweat shirt, I put on a lovely sweater. You inspire me. And I have never seen anything as adorable as Desi. May God bless you and keep you safe. Happy holidays and kiss Desi for me.

You're right. As we get older, gift giving becomes more about meaning and less about the dollar value. My son and I were estranged for nearly ten years when he took a path that led to him being incarcerated multiple times. He got his life together and we reconnected three years ago. I don't get to see my family over Christmas; it's too expensive to fly home and the last time I tried, I ended up stuck in the Detroit airport for 12 hours. So we all video call and I ship gifts. My son is 41 now and it's not like he needs anything from me. I decided this year that as part of his gift, I'd go through my old photo albums and put one together for him of pictures from his life. I also decided I'd write his birth story with as much love and humor as I can muster. I hope he likes it.

I always knew that he did love me, but it’s sad that people wait until it’s almost too late before they open up or find the courage to clear things up. Scripture tells us that Life and Death are in the Power of the tongue…Proverbs 18:21…the words we speak have the ability to give life to a person or a situation….or kill and destroy a person…I love you is life giving…♥️…when I was a child my mom always said…sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me…this is obviously not true…the best way to protect yourself from hurtful words is to not take offence…and when we love …love covers the wrong and forgives…be blessed…♥️

First, I want to say I am so excited that you are almost at 100,000! I hope that you get to 100,000 before Christmas. That would be a gift we could give you Susan. You look so beautiful. I have the Ana Luisa heart necklace and love it. I have given many pieces of Ana Luisa to my friends and family. I plan on buying some pieces for my daughters for this Christmas. Thank you for the great idea with the quotes. My husband has so many things he says every day and I would love to put all of them in a frame. One Valentine's Day I put my lip print on a piece of paper with red lipstick and said "My kisses are just for you!". He loved that gift so much. Love you Susan!

Hello Laura!!! Can you believe we have been at this for so many years? All the ups and downs and ins and outs...the good, the bad and the ugly..and we are still here and still standing! I think we just understand each other...we both love music so much...what makes a woman like you want to get up a dance her heart out for the world is something we all should aspire to...no matter our age...we are here...we matter...we have something to say and we won't ever stop until we are heard...:) I love you my friend...hitting 100,000 will be very cool. There was a time it would have meant the world to me but after all these years it's really all about something else....the women we meet along the way and how we touch each other's life...that can't be bought or brought on by a viral video about soap.....it's real and it takes years of dedication and trust. Those beautiful words I get to say every week...." come back and see me and Desi"...corny as all get-out...but it is the most important thing that many do come back...and that makes it all so worthwhile. No wall plaque for that....but it's everything. I know you understand...you are deep like that...my love to you! xxo Sues

I wish Christmas was a happy time for me but sadly not with my husband failing more each day. I do love the scent of real trees but we have artificial as I put it up very early cause the lights at night soothe my soul. Your home is so cozy and welcoming ❤️
