...🎉 WINNER!! Which is how I use my 2 cloth ones...although, I have a big wooden box w/2 drawers in the bathroom which holds a BIG box of tissue.

Would your tissue box fit if you cut it to be shorter….take some tissues out and use them to refill as needed??

That is exactly what I did. I have a metal painted tissue box from the 30's. I took them out of the box.😊

I love that Mike knew where the lamps were. i know he helps a lot but it also means he’s paying attention. I’ve subscribed for a long time and i’m so happy you found each other.

Amanda, they couldn't have picked a better person to do the displays, They both turned out wonderfully. The fact that Mike knew which lamps you were talking about and the location of them is just proof that he actually pays attention and has interest in what you're doing. That's priceless. Seeing the dogs heads bop up and down while you were eating dinner was too funny. And lastly, you make me want to move to your state, it looks so beautiful and peaceful! I've lived in northern and Southern California my whole life, so that's saying a lot for me. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We moved here in March from the Adirondacks and couldn't be happier! It really is a beautiful state. The weather is phenomenal. We don't miss Northern NY at all - especially now that it's winter! We've had several days in the mid 60s this past week while my friends in NY are shoveling snow. It's especially fun to see Amanda going places that I recognize!

You have such a gift for display. The Christmas entry is so nice! For your new old tissue holder, just take the tissues out of the box in a stack and lay them in your holder. You don't need a box inside it :o)

I get my tissue boxes from the Dollar General and they fit perfectly in my vintage tissue holder.

Flat tissue boxes were the originals long ago. Can still find some in institutional settings (like a hospital, etc)

This is Grandma from Texas. We never put the box of tissues in the tissue holder. We always removed tissues from the packaging and placed in decorative dispenser. You could use like 1/4 to 1/2 of tissue

I think the dollar tree usually has those skinny tissue boxes. But I agree with another person you can just take them out of the box. 😍

Amanda, I had the same problem with a Hollywood Regency Tissue Box. I simply cut the bottom off, removed the extra tissues from the bottom and it worked great. Good for home but not for the booth. Also, I spray painted my box of tissues before I opened my box because I did not like the bright colors showing through the small openings. I actually sprayed several boxes at one time to avoid the hassle later. You will have the same issue . . . with your tissue {s}. LOL.

I’ve made those same meatballs many times! I’ve also used jellied cranberry sauce instead of the grape jelly a few times. Both ways are yummy!

I love appetizers as well. I always try to make each bite be a little bit of everything. Like it’s an appetizers. At my wedding we hade all apps, no entries.

My son is a fantastic cook. He says recipes are just a suggestion.

My husband and I eat the meatballs for dinner all the time. I make a side of rice to drizzle the sauce over. Pigs in a blanket are a go to for dinner also. Thanks for validating that we’re not totally crazy.😅

Try chili sauce (usually next to the cocktail sauce in the condiment aisle) and grape jelly. You can cook meatballs or cocktail weinies in it. It's delish!!

We make our meatballs with the chili sauce and grape jelly. Never seen it with bbq sauce.

Take the tissues out of a smaller cube box and put them in the holder. This works great for the Florentine tissue holders as well.

Next time you make meatballs in the slow cooker, try mixing them with jellied cranberry sauce (from a can) and chili sauce (in the glass bottle). It is delicious!

Take the tissues out of the box in the stack and shove it into the holder and it should work for you!!!❤❤❤

2 solutions to size of tissue box: dollar store has thin ones; just take the tissues out of the box and put in your bought container.

Amanda, do yourself a favor for Christmas or New Years and substitute the Grape Jelly with a can of the jellied Cranberry sauce , and add it to Chili Sauce instead of BBQ , ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yummy ❤

Sometimes wtih a cardboard box, you can not tell how low you are getting...and then NO MORE!
