I'll never get over how much I love those lamps. Santa looks perfect in the middle of them. I really love that charcoal wall as well!

I think what I like most is the way the spinners have the ornaments reflect light all around the Christmas Tree, adds a magical touch, as if someone is dancing...

Also, the way the lights shimmer through the ornaments and cascade downward, in my opinion, just adds a special touch to Christmas..

I can’t stop saying it! That broken mirror Christmas tree! It calls me every time!

Here we are....nearing the end of the month. I have truly enjoyed watching this video everyday, getting inspired by what I've seen and reading how everyone loves this theme and what you did with your home. There has been so much I have commented on. Everything from attempting to count the reindeer (can you believe I STILL doubt my answer, lol) to the hidden birds in your banister garland to how stunning your tree is. And even how much I am LOVING being a part of the Design Sessions community! You have not just uploaded KZread videos to showcase your décor, you have created a community of people who love the same things. A family! And that's what I absolutely love about what you do. You bring everyone together from all walks of life and share your story, your design principles and your projects. I completely agree with your comment on how Christmas isn't just about gifts and giving of them....but giving of yourself. You are the prime example of that! And seeing you preach that in all you do is heartwarming and I wish more people could do the same. My, how peaceful our world would be. Thank-You for being a light for all of us and sharing your talents and for giving us the opportunity to be an extended part of your family. One thing I learned from you when I started watching your Christmas videos is the idea of having a theme for the year. Mine, until then, had always been a hodgepodge of all the things I had collected through the years. Not so now. Thanks so much for enlightening me! What a difference!

This is my all time favorite Christmas design. We just moved a week ago from a 900 sq ft home to a 4,000 sq ft home and I cannot wait to decorate for Christmas this year. I am going to need more decorations!! Love, love, Love!!

Today is a very bittersweet day for me. Today would have been my grandfather's birthday. He passed in 2007. But while I miss him dearly, I'm dedicating today's comment to him. ❤️ Just like with your Christmas décor for this particular year's theme, my grandfather loved reindeer. And he especially loved them within Christmas décor. I really wish he could be here to see how I've started incorporating them into my decorations each year. Using reindeer in decorations brings back tons of memories from my childhood with him. They had a home in MD on their church's massive property backed up to the mountains and every Sunday morning while we were up visiting them, we would sit on their front porch and watch as the reindeer emerged from the trees. He always left some sort of food for them on the edge of their home's property so we could enjoy them. And he was such a storyteller and would tell my sister and I some cute (and sometimes funny) stories from his childhood and his experiences with reindeer. So every year, I try to collect some glass reindeer to use on tables, etc. And it fills my heart with such joy because I can feel his presence when I decorate! And I love seeing you use them within your décor because it also gives me the feeling of him being here with me. ❤️ Instagram: @amcarter91

Speaking only from my personal experience, Christmas for my family and I, is a wonderful time of year, where we all stop what we are doing and spend quality time with people we love, with good food and lively conversation. When I watch these videos, I see and experience so much more that a beautiful tree, or a wreath. What I now call “the Kinwoven factor” is this: ENCHANTMENT (spinners); HOPE (hoping the lights still work); WONDERMENT (when the lights do work); and REFLECTION (inside is just as important as outside, ornament placement included). The Kinwoven factor provided my home with PEACE and DIRECTION (flow of different treatments in varying rooms), INTRIGUE (beautifully wrapped gifts). Above all, the Kinwoven factor reminds us of our FAITH and human spirit (Nativity) and reminds us to be GENEROUS with our effort and time (helping others). I see so much LOVE in everything that unfolds in these videos, we all express ourselves differently, and in Rebecca sharing such a beautiful God given gift, it is a BLESSING to be part of this experience.

Rebecca's eye and style is just SICK! I don't care how many other utubers I visit to get inspiration I always come back to Robeson design!

Today's comment I'm going to go a bit off topic. Lol. I usually try to keep my comments on the topic of whatever video it is, but I just need to venture off for a bit. 😊 I have always enjoyed watching your videos (both the Christmas and all year home décor videos) and have learned so much from them. They have brought on so many new inspirations for our current home and I am so grateful for what I've taken from these videos. However, as you know, I recently joined the Design Sessions! YAY!! Seriously long overdue, but better late than never....and I must say this has been the most incredible investment of my life! I am so grateful for these sessions as they are truly helping us with the process of selecting a new home to build. I can now (after doing some major catching up) walk into a model home and envision how I want the home to be decorated. Not only decorating, but the overall floor plan of this home. I notice things that I would have overlooked if it weren't for the Design Sessions and it has saved us from making decisions on certain homes we've seen and at one point considered. I feel more confident with artwork, lighting, etc. I'll be honest....I was one to select art AFTER a wall was painted because we fell in love with a certain color and trying to find a piece to match was a struggle. Now, with looking to build, we're doing some purchasing on art pieces, etc NOW so when we go to officially start the building process, we can confidently select what colors, lighting and more we need to have put in. They have been a life changing experience for us and I am so grateful to you and what your vision was to teach us the proper ways of making a house a home! It truly is a blessing each month to see what new and exciting things we're going to learn. I cannot wait for us to start this new chapter in our lives because I KNOW that when we do, we are going to get it all right from the beginning! 😊❤️ And that is such an amazing, accomplished feeling! So today I'll comment on how beautiful your snowflake, icicle and starry lights are always part of your Christmas decor, every year. And somehow you think of another way to use them. And always your placement of them, no matter what room or rooms you use them in, it's magically! It's amazing the difference in using them. This year there are 2 things I'm going to do. I'm going to make a broken glass Christmas tree and hang starry lights in my dining room. Excited to do this for my 2020 Christmas. Thank you for the constant inspiration!

LOL @Earl C, Yep, I'm pretty traditional that way. I LOVE Christmas and I'm proud of it. I choose not to live in a politically correct world. In fact, It bothers me that we have to abandon our values to be inclusive. If you don't like or celebrate CHRISTMAS... Than don't watch my Christmas videos :) Just like TV, I choose what I want to watch and what I don't want to watch :-) As long as I live in a free world, I'll live freely :-) Between you and me, when I'm in a store and the cashiers refuse to say "CHRISTMAS" I say it as loud as I can :-))) Bottom line, I grew up in a traditional family when Christmas was magical and the best time of the year. I give, give, give and as long as I care more about others than myself, I think I'm on the right track. Merry CHRISTMAS Earl :-) RR

Today I'm going to talk about your Christmas videos over the years. Your home tours are part of my Christmas. I look forward to them every year! I remember one year you had your tour of your office instead of your home. And one year you had a tour of your LaJolla clients home your decorated. Fab! I also loved when you guys did 25 days of Christmas. I believe there as fun for you to make your videos as they are for us to watch, learn and get inspired!

I've seen this video several times. This is my 3rd time to watch it. Everything is so gorgeous and stunning. I love the wintry and neutral look. That is my favorite color scheme for Christmas. I also loved the broken mirror Christmas tree wall hanging that you & Sharrah designed that you placed in your dining room. The Christmas tree ornaments are lovely as well. Today I'm giving well deserved mention to the mercury glass candle holders on the entry table. So beautiful and perfectly arranged! It set the tone for the total glam of your Christmas decor! I have several mercury glass candle holders that seem to come out every Christmas. I think mercury glass is an essential at Christmas time! Or anytime really!

The way you combine gold and silver is done so tastefully. It is beautiful!

Well today I'll talk about those great black and gold lamps I've seen over the years in different rooms of your home. Those are up there with my all time favorite lamps. They're classic, will never go out of style, and absolutely go with that years Christmas. That fabulous Mark Roberts santa between the fabulous lamps and your art work behind it all that popped against your charcoal wall, dang that is a perfect room! True perfection!

I watched this video two times today...the first time i watched with my second sister (i have 2 elder sisters and i am the last child) and she was like this video is so magical and that she has watched this video so many times since the first time i recemmanded her this video years ago. She also loved your favourite ball on the tree (but i think that it has been accidentally broken...and please correct me if i am wrong) and she loved the magestic and magnificent and glamourous and magical and peaceful and graceful and luxurious entryway with the reindeer looking high with a pride of being in a perfect spot with all the gorgeous icicles cascading above him but the thing is i could not comment on the video at that time as 24 hours were not over so here i am watching it for the second time. Hi Rebecca, I love the color scheme, it's absolutely beautiful!!! They are my favorite colors, I'm so glad you did this!! Would you please make a video decorating a real tree? I see so many of your beautiful tree designs but they are all done on artificial trees. Also, in the near future can you show us more decorating with silver and gold combos? @Nicole Carter, Its interesting you should request this. I have wanted to do a fresh tree for years. Here's the problem... In order to create these videos early enough to be helpful to you, I need to decorate in October and edit them in time for an early November upload. Well, in So California, NO ONE sells fresh Christmas Trees in October! In addition, there is a lot of work involved so I get to enjoy the fruits of my labor and have my Christmas Decor up for my family to enjoy. So, bottom line... A fresh tree would never make it to December if decorated in October. Does that make sense? Sorry hon. RR

We wouldn't mind to keep the ideas of your Christmas tree for next year's decorating, or if you want to release the video next November as well. We love all of your genius decorating ideas. Also, based on www.seecalifornia.com/farms/apple-hill-tree-farms.html, some farms already sell tree in September, so it might be an option in case you want to do the shooting sometimes in September.

CHRISTmas, not "Xmas.' Please never take the Christ out of your Christmas.

I remember watching this for the first time almost four years ago, it was magical. It’s opened up all the feelings I had as a child... the anticipation, wonderment and joy of Christmas. At the time I really needed this, because my Dad had passed away a year earlier and he had loved this holiday so much and made it so special for all his family and ours. At the time you had shone a light in my heart. Now, watching this again four years later, this video has proven to be timeless and still magical.

The banister that year was also one of my favorites. I love the owl with the pinecones. It's like organic glamour! I have learned so much from watching you it's crazy. Christmas is my favorite time to decorate like alot of people and watching your videos and design sessions have been instrumental over the years.

Incredible what a single painted wall does to change to the mood and feel of a room. Add complementary framed art and with the rest of the Christmas theme decor, a home has been transformed to an entire new place! I’m already looking to see what changes I can make to my living room and den to make it as special, or closely to yours, for this coming Christmas (of course, given if finances allow). 😉 Thank you for your very generous sharing of your expertise and selfless giving to us Rebecca. 👍🏻
