@@MontanaHaven I must tell you, just in case you haven't done it yet. Proclaim and plead the Blood of Jesus over your whole property and home, around the perimeter, inside and outside, and over every person who enters the property. Ask the Lord to send His heavenly warring hosts to stand guard around the perimeter of your land and on each corner of your home. You have some un-natural tree bends, leans, and structures I noticed on your property. And that noise you call "tree-popping" from the cold, just might not be that. Many many strong Christians, including myself, believe there are still, and more than ever, encounters with the "Beasts of the earth"/giants/Nephilim/Bigfoot. Many credible KZread channels with testimonies of innocent hunters, campers, hikers, or even homesteaders/farmers are having terrible problems. But the great news is, the testimonies where they rebuked them in the Name of Jesus, and Blessed their property, all evil flees. This is by no means meant to bring fear...only awareness with Love. God Bless and protect your beautiful family

Joas, our Christian friends, dedicated Christians like you, have also been so BLESSED since moving from Texas to Alaska to see homeschooling families having so many benefits from the state!!! We homeschooled our children too & it’s constant vigilance to keep Texas government allowing us this freedom!

Yes, we have to educate ourselves on the people who are running for office. I am also from TX but live in north Idaho now. It is very important to vote the right people in office to preserve our freedoms. Alaska seems like a Great state.

I homeschooled my sons for 24 years until they finished their schooling. Public school was never an option and these days, private schools are not much better although I do think they do provide an better academic education. My main reason for homeschooling was to save my children’s souls. In the end, that is more important. Another benefit to homeschooling is that it encourages children to view learning as a life long process. I recall a conversation I had with my niece during one Thanksgiving gathering. I was sharing something interesting about the history of thanksgiving and she commented that she didn’t know she was in school. I told her we should always be learning. My sons share that same belief. I gave the Treking game to my grandchildren. It is so much fun.

Never give up homeschooling your children. The government does not want to give up control of your children. Home schoolers all over the USA never, never give up your guidance and control of your children and their schooling. God bless this wonderful family.🇮🇱

Yes you are right. We take our health for granted. I’ve been suffering from autoimmune thyroid disease the past 7 years. I’m healing each day due to a ton of work on my part to rid my body of toxins, hidden infections and emotional baggage that all take a tremendous toll on our health. And most importantly my faith in my LORD and savior. Enjoyed meeting you all a couple years back at the auction. (The Abbott’s from Georgia). God is good hope to see everyone again soon. Best in Health, Jeff

I believe schools like where you went have such small amount of students per teachers that there is a greater chance that the teacher will have more time to spend with each child and from that comes better grades, a better acting student, etc.... When I went to school from 1967-1981, it still wasn't like now because our teachers maybe had 15-22 students per class and the teacher could handle it. Teachers could still follow each child and how they were doing in school. When my kids were in school some classes had 30 students. That is way, way too many. Our kids had more trouble learning because there were always the kids who acted out, were loud, and had no rules at home. In turn it made it harder on my kids to learn with all the disruptions. i went to private school for a while and went to public school for most of my school days... The private school was not better at teaching, we just had less students per teacher so in turn had more help, more interaction from the teacher and more care for the students. Public schools were still good then. Now days I would not send my kids to public school... i would definitely homeschool or put them in private Christian school. There are too many things kids are learning in public school now which are evil, mean spirited, teachers are overworked, have no time... It's a sorry thing....

Your family is such a Joy to watch. Happy New Year! May you all be blessed with happiness and health in 2024. Joas, I am thrilled your out walking around. At this rate, you will be going hiking when spring arrives. 😃 I agree completely that Priscilla should sew clothes and open a shop. Her dress is so beautiful. I can’t believe she made that dress in one day. My grandson was home schooled for his junior and senior year of high school. He has finished his studies now at age 16 1/2, with top grades. His home school was an intense study. I certainly believed the high school in his town/city was not the place for him after his first two years there. Certainly in these very strange times. I believe more and more are enrolling their children into a home school program. Looking forward to your next video. You certainly are cold up there in Alaska. We are having a cold spell here also in Colorado. Thankfully not below zero. 😄

Happy New year Miller family! We love you and enjoy watching what crazy things you get up to!😂😂😂Kudos to Joas to speak the truth about public school. Here in Oregon it's been bad for a long time. We removed our youngest in 4th grade in 2009. He went to a small Christian school, where I became an employee and received 75% employee discount for tuition! Whoohoo!✝️

The college I went to (Univ of Mary Hardin-Baylor) had LOTS of students there who were homeschooled (missionary kids or just super watchful parents) and they were WAY more knowledgeable than me or any of the kids in public schools (not knocking public schools). And I have a friend that was in a circus- yes, I said circus, and she was homeschooled. To this day, she is the most well read person and she could have a conversation and hold her own in a room full of adults on any topic. She is a restaurant owner now so she did well in life and she is wise in SO many areas, but also knows how to do things that most people are clueless about. I am grateful to have met so many homeschooled people. We had lots of them in ballet because their parents would want them to get socialized that way. I began my education in education and did an exit and did another very pricey degree (useless)😂 but the education system is broken in my opinion. All the teachers I met and many in my family said they spent most of the time just managing behavior just to get to the lesson. Food is a huge component of behavior. I do wish that we would have school year round here and do a program to get a job like they do in Europe in public schools by the time they graduate. If more people here knew more about what other countries did they would like it and ask for change. But those are just my thoughts. 😅

Merry belated Christmas! It’s good to see Joas walking and getting better quicker. Praise God! Thank you for showing us everything you do. Building houses hunting fishing and Soya. Most homeschool kids are taught better how to rewrite and do arithmetic. People getting out of public school they graduate and can’t read right or do arithmetic. How is that even possible. I think they’re more socialized than educated. I think every state should give you a percentage when you homeschool from the taxes you pay in for school taxes every year. You pay it but they don’t get an advantage of it and they don’t give it back. Blessings.

It is so great to see Joas truly walking again! Praise the Lord! Your children work so hard at jobs and household chores and are truly grateful for any and every gift they receive. It is so refreshing to watch the joy they show opening gifts. You are blessed with so many great new friends in Alaska and they are just as blessed to know the Miller family! I got a big laugh from Joas' preface about not having helmets yet for the snow mobile rides!! 200 comments saved! 👍👍😊 Happy New Year!
