Christine Lagarde On The Challenges Of Traversing Different Careers| Forbes

Christine Lagarde became the first woman to head the European Central Bank on November 1, 2019. The election put her in charge of European monetary policy during a time of geopolitical uncertainty and slowing economic growth in the region. From 2011 until mid-2019, Lagarde ran the International Monetary Fund that works to ensure the stability of the global monetary system. She was the first woman to hold that position.
At the Forbes Women's Summit in 2019, Lagarde took the stage to discuss the economic potential in closing the gender gap and the challenges of navigating different career paths as a woman.

I am so captivated by her story and this will be my motivation in exploring new career opportunities. Thank you for sharing this video and it should be an inspiration for women who are not risk takers!

This is one of the greatest villains in history. The catastrophe that this incompetent is going to generate with her disastrous inflation forecasting will be historic.

When positions as in France are political jobs and she took the right waves. Now you see how one person destroys with arrogance and fake ideology EU. Sad she could be a good attorney but not running for crucial economical positions. Politics never match with economis. Here we have the role proofs. Sad

Ms. LaGarde is always right and if you prove to her that she is not right, then she runs behind you and beats you up with her Agent Provocateur suspender belt. How she got to her current post, only she and the good Lord know. She embodies woman power. I can see that clearly. So what's the point of women complaining that they're being discriminated against and disadvantaged? I think it's just empty talk from women who only want one thing. Namely power and money. If a woman goes into politics, she is no longer a woman, but some creature that is not of this world.

It is too bad when one gets an interviewer who feels she have to give a lecture before she simply asks a question.

Just like to remind everyone, she is a convicted criminal. Yet somehow she didn't get a sentence, and kept her job and the prestige, money and power that goes with it. Incredible. If there was an example of one rule for the elite and one for the commoners this is it.
