Same, same. But God doesn’t put us through trials unless He has a purpose that will strengthen your relationship with Him. You might be bending but you won’t break. He’s got you! I’m going through a health test, you are not alone :)

@@thesunsurfer7 yes i know that's true. thanks. know im being called into ministry. wilderness- preparation. but there's much more to it that makes it exceedingly painful right now. cant explain it. please pray for me. my life depends 100% on His faithfulness and it seems like this will literally never end.

Put your mind on Him read word pray listen to christian music I'm where you are and no joke some days are difficult but His mercy is new every morning!! Okay, this is SOOOO a right now word for me!! The past 3 1/2+ years have been brutal for us. I had been ready to just walk away - jump ship - BUT GOD has other plans. Maybe, just maybe I am suppose to do the hard thing that I have been struggling with. I published a small book in 2020 that was to be book one in a series of 12 books, with the intention of putting one out each month. I did not manage to get the other 11 books written let alone published. I left my tiny apartment in the city to move back home to live on the property with my estranged husband and things got even WORSE for us not the least of which was the loss of 2 of the 3 habitations we had. If the fire had broken out during the night I would not be able to add this next bit. We both LIVED because GOD saw fit to have the fire happen during the day rather than at night. (so much of this story is overwhelming to talk about) Very long story short, WE are both alive plus 1 of 2 cats. Our marriage is healing while we live in a strangers home. GOD is helping me see the good more than the bad. This word about "don't jump ship" is truly a right now word that I needed to hear because I was ready to walk away from it all because my heart is just so... nearly dead for feelings, that I thought it would be best for everyone. I do not believe GOD or my husband agree with that though. THANK YOU Christine Caine for pointing right at me when you said "Don't jump ship!" I like that saying, you even have me with a have smile on my face right now. THANK YOU for allowing GOD to use you like this.

READ THE CONTEXT OF THIS PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE, USE A COMMENTARY, AND YOU WILL FIND THAT PAUL WAS ADDRESSING ONE PARTICULAR SITUATION, WHERE THERE WAS DISORDER, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE READ THE SCRIPTURE IN ISOLATION, WITHOUT FULLY STUDYING AND RESEARCHING THE BACKGROUND AND CULTURAL CONTEXT OF THE PASSAGE. AND YES YOU ARE A MAN, AND MY GUESS IS THAT THIS IS ALL YOU REALLY DO IN TERMS OF SERVING GOD.
