She played the role well. She definitely was a rock n roll girl who used to hang out with members from metal bands. The only difference between her and that character was in real life she wasn't "dumb" like the show represented her. The rest of how she dresses and what she listened to was right on and there is nothing wrong with that or that metal music ! Awesome girl !! *edit*; typo:. Roll🚫 --> role*

Yep. She ditched Brad Pitt for Sebastian Bach, and who knows what kind of crazy stuff she did back then (consider she can act on the camera one way and be the real self when the lights are off). CA was enjoying her time during her prime. And it took a heavy mental toll in the long run

Kelly was so damn beutiful. Suprises me that Goldberg thinks people are so stupid that they would think the person would be the same as the character.

3:00 - 3:24 In the end she didn't have a say about that and finally (in season 11) went into a cartoon-ish husk with tons of makeup. That character had a lot of potential during season 2, though... 5:53 - 6:35 IMO, not much considering that between Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead and Anchorman she was involved in pretty mediocre movies (almost her entire 90's and early 00's portfolio). Not to mention her 1998 tv show Jessie...

yeah, she either picked bad projects or only got OFFERED bad projects or, more likely, was typecast. glad she found her groove eventually. i liked the show "Jessie," btw. Although, I haven't watched it since it aired.

@@raveballs Typecast... unlikely: Streets was a good movie (buried by terrible marketing and limited theatrical run). I believe it was a mix between her manager's actions (or lack of actions, comparing her case with the ones of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jodie Foster), FOX's actions of turning her "the ultimate teen bimbo" and being ill advised (presumebly by her mother, if I can trust those tabloids from that time). I can't think of better reasons of not focusing of expanding her range (because she has the chops) instead of stagnate and rely solely on photoshoots during late 80's and early 90's and have to be in constant self-denial every time she get interviewed.

@@raveballs I found it in Boston Globe from newspaper pay site; it originally aired the night of Mon Jan 18th. I submitted it to IMDb, so they added the date immediately, but are slowly adding names and pictures. They skipped Will Smith, so maybe anything to do with him has to be approved by a supervisor!

Update: 5:25 - 5:46 Ironic considering she went to bars like a party animal with Chris Farley, David Spade and Adam Sandler the week where she hosted SNL for the first time (May '93), which she confirmed during an interview not too long ago. Not to mention the Viper Room thing later on (yeah, I'm talking about River Phoenix's death). Who knows what things transpired before and after this interview. One thing is sure: she chose life. Hollywood's definition of life. 7:20 - 7:30 Robert De Niro... strange as she had the chance to work with him on Cape Fear to play the role Juliette Lewis did, but the albatross named MwC nixed that (same thing happened with Jackie Brown). And also that reminded me of an article where Steven Spielberg mentioned she turned down a role on Jurassic Park (I think the role was Lex). I think CA, along with the main cast, had some kind of Stockholm Syndrome (with FOX being the bad guy). I can't believe she stuck on the show for its entire runtime. One thing I've been noticing her since 91/92 through your videos: her voice going deep in a similar fashion of a regular smoker, which for the last decade was getting pretty evident. And her looks started fading throughout season 5, took an evident toll during mid season 7, got some comeback during season 11 and then... they're gone. Overall, none of the stuff CA mentioned was accomplished and in the end she just turned into another Hollywood run-of-the-mill actress. Anyway, I appreciate your work uploading this video as a window to the past along with the rest of your channel
