she can hold the candyman note live, she has done it several times and all the high notes from her dvd sound amazing. I don't think she's losing her voice at all, and I'm pretty sure that she'll use whistle notes in her next album if she thinks that register can fit her new songs, which was not the case with the old school style.

And BTW, she chooses to mix, I believe she could hit them perfectly without mixing, but she mixes to make it more powerful, cause that's her signature vocal style. But, anyways, i'm ignoring you.

I've seen videos of her performances on youtube during the B2B tour and she doesn't always lip sync this note in candyman. Sometimes it's live. And T4 wasn'"t the last time she tried to sing it live, she did it several times after that performance.

Nothing can be taken away from Christina's ability..but nothing can be added as well. The claim being made is that her ability surpasses the current talent and thats simply not true. Each of the pop talents brings something different and spectacular to the genre..and frankly its like Peter said on Family Guy in regards to Christina's singing: "what is that? what are you saying??" lol

With real proper training Christina can be the Sopano she was back in her Genie in a bottle era, truth be told her notes were more effortless and clear and smooth. Rather than now. her GIAB era of her hitting notes was not due from range, but a untrained and raw voice, don't you agree O.o?

Comparing Mariah Carey with Christina Aguilera... Xtina is better, not much, but she is... :) They are very incredible! But... Xtina is spectacular.

Nope. Mariah's control, dexterity and agility is unmatched. Sorry but its the truth, even vocal coaches know Mariah's songs are often the hardest to sing.

Natulichocolate You're totally right!!!.But Christina isn't just better, she's WAY BETTER than Mariah, Leona and even the very Whitney :) Many people think Whitney was the best female voice of the world and of all times, but for me isn't like that at all.Since Christina Aguilera exists, nor even Whitney can tread on her heels.
