To people complaining about the lyrics being sexual: she's basically implying that even though she finds the guy attractive she won't sleep with him right away and she won't settle for less than a relationship, he has to impress her for any of that. That is why she is saying "hormones racing at the speed of light, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the night" and "you're blowing kisses my way, but that doesn't mean I am gonna give it right away". I don't see how it is a bad message. If you only listen to the main part then yes, you can turn it into something purely sexual... but the song is not about that.

When I was 14 when this song came out, even my naive mind recognized the innuendo / double entendre in the lyrics. A lot of the other hit songs at the time had them, including Britney Spears - "Baby One More Time", Mandy Moore - "Candy", etc.

When they still had music on MTV and you could text a message that would show up on the bottom of the screen for a few seconds, for the low price of 9 Swedish crowns (~$1).
