I was introduced to this church by my father in the Lord, Pst. David Yabs during my time of going to NYSC. I found this ministry very helpful and accommodating. I had to bring in my dad and siblings who were not in Deeper Life before then. I love this church, the leadership and the teachings of the GS. May God add more to his anointing.

@@ogechukwunwakaego1343 English is not my mother's or father's language which I am not even perfect in. but I can assure you that you are rather confused. Let me attempt to make things clear--- when some one says they can't do something anymore than they have done they are simply trying to say they have reached the highest level and there's no higher level above where they can reach, if you get it good, if you don't get it well I can't help you more than I have tried. There was a time I tried to interprete to a doctor what a patient was saying in my native dialect( kassem) and was laughed🤣🤣🤣 at by colleagues who said I am not good at translation and I agreed and handed over to somebody, this was in 2007. and ever since I don't attempt because wrong interpretation can lead to wrong diagnosis and subsequently wrong treatment which may in turn result into fatalities. I remember before then some where around the 2000s I purchased copies of the New Testament in two local languages ( kassem my mother tongue, and frafra)from a branch of Bible League Ghana and was later given some potions of the Old Testament by the shop keeper to help with translation, I couldn't make it and so gave up though I could read those local dialects fluently.

This is true, u can't possibly be the way u were when u were found . A process that made u a better you happened afterwards . We need this kind of teaching.

Another error. How can you compare Elijah who wasn't born again to a new creature in Christ Jesus. "The least in God's kingdom is greater than Elijah." Mathew 11 : 11.

He is the apostle Paul of our time, NOT the Elijah of our time. Even though Elijah went to heaven, nonetheless, his position in heaven is not as great as ours because Elijah was a man who didn't live in the era of Grace and so his sins weren't washed away by the Blood of Jesus as the case of we who live in the era of Grace and have our sins washed away. So we are greater than Elijah in the presence of God. We have been regenerated, Elijah wasn't regenerated.

I totally agree with our Father in the Lord on this. This may have come as a surprise to even the audience. We've been used to singing that song lyrics - nothing bad about the lyrics. It's the application and mindset. Many young believers have limited themselves to just the basic principles instead of growing. The major point is, we should move on to PERFECTION. "Lord, Take me as I am" - but you are no longer who you were. Therefore, as new creatures, start bearing fruit and make progress. Read HEBREWS 6:1; Be blessed.

The song was never condemned if you listened to the Pastor clearly. He said it is meant to be sung at point of conversion, going by the wordings. You know he's addressing steady members in a Retreat, that an established christian should desire growth, not making prayers (through song) like someone just approaching calvary for pardon and cleansing from sin. It's still in the Church hymn book and it won't be removed
