The overarching theme of the Bible is that of the Kingdom of God vs. the Kingdom of Man. God's nature never changes and human nature only changes by the intercession of God.

Father keep me encouraged because being a single mother with two special needs children is overwhelming and challenging especially now because I’m homeschooling them, so now my hours to work are limited. I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength as I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay rent. Please Lord change my situation.

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (touch not; taste not; handle not; which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Jesus himself said that you cannot be neutral. You are either for him or you are against him. So to take a "neutral" stand on something is to go against what Jesus says, which means you are against him. Stop bouncing between two broken reeds. Either God is, or He isn't. If He is, then live like it. If He isn't, then start living like it.

Dude, stop shouting. The faithful son wasn't perfect either. He thought he deserved his father's love, because he worked hard and did everything that was expected of him. Sound familiar? That's what people who try to keep the Law might say. Also, neither son came up with the idea to party with their dad.

Joshua 5:13+14 - 'Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in His hand. Joshua approached Him and asked, “Are You for us or for our enemies?” “Neither,” He replied. “I have now come as Commander of the LORD’s army.” Ephesians 6:10-12 'Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.'
