Excellent! I usually prefer the heavier stuff, but I like Symphonic metal as well. And you managed to channel two of my favorites into one sound: Nightwish and Therion; the latter of which I don't listen to very often since their lyics are often...questionable for Christians. But I love that sound and you brought it to life in this album. Well done, indeed!

Ty sir! Yes, there were a lot of Nightwish vibes with the voice and style, but also the folk elements. I know of Therion but I think their lyrics/themes are literally pagan, right? Same with Ramstein, that’s why I never could get into them. Glad you enjoyed!! The last 3-5 minute of the last song of the album do go heavier. Let me know what you think of that part!

As for Therion, yeah they're pretty pagan. They like to write lyrics based on religious myths. As long as they simply write ABOUT other religions, I'm cool with that. It's when they write about (false) Christian myths, or have songs in praise of false religion that I take issue, which happens a lot. Thus, I don't listen to them very often as I have to be very discerning and particular. It's curious that you're not too familiar with them as I would describe the sound of this album as probably 70-80% Therion and only 20-30% Nightwish. As far as the album itself, I think it might actually be my favorite thing you've done so far. And while the last track is most amounts of excellent, I think my favorite track is probably #6. I particularly like the driving riffs and vocal style of that track. Once again, great work!

@@jonathangreer9379 Interesting, all of it! I know I stumbled upon them, but I think the pagan stuff front and center just turned me off, maybe we're similar in that discerning stuff. I'm glad you liked this album! I will post lyric videos on "their" channel, and I have a few other similar ones I'm working on. It's funny because I liked it, too, but I'm more into orchestral (like the ones I make under Sacra Theosis and the newer He Leadeth Us), but I'm open to all good stuff!

Finally, someone made christian metal like metal should be. The western world is behind in good music and sounds too much like....blah. I fell in love with Nightwish years ago when I first discovered what Symphonic Metal was. It was a point in life where I found myself hating western music and loving stuff like Rhapsody of Fire, Sabaton, Freedom Call, etc. Then came Nightwish and that was it. Nothing tops it. But recently, I couldn't listen to their lyrics without getting upset. Quoting Richard Dawkins was laughable since many atheists hate him for making them look stupid since he's more argumentative and fueled with hate towards God. Then came along LEAH (christian symphonic metal/folk/celtic in the style of Enya). She's awesome to listen to. Theocracy is another good band but these are far and inbetween as far as Christian goes. You just made my day. I have another band to add to the short list. 🙂

Thanks for your awesome comment! I'm going to continue posting these to the Light Divine (Metal) channel, though I'm focusing on another project first. Check out my other project Sacra Theosis (orchestral power metal, almost like Rhapsody but different), and some other guy has hyms set to symphonic metal under Deus Metallicus. (I'm planning on making a "rival" song to Nightwish's latest track, to spin it and infuse it with deeper theological meaning, not just poetry and science.. that'll be under the Creation Suite for Sacra Theosis. If you got any ideas of what you'd like to respond to Nightwish I can see to make it better! :)

Ah, that makes sense. Those with trained ears can hear the weirdness that sometimes happens. This is actually AI-generated music, though for the most part it generates good stuff, it will sometimes have weird stuff (just like AI images can have weird hands, etc). If you stick around, I'd love your input on the other tracks, because I made those ones with another AI tool than the one I used for these. Thanks!
