In fact, it's more than Monotheism. It's Tawheed. What you heard was “La ilaha illallah” which means There is none worthy of worship except Allah (The one true God). The word Allah is unique, it can only be applied to Allah (The one true God) unlike the english word God which can be manipulated in many different ways. For example: God ~ Goddess, Godfather, Godmother, Godly, Gods, you can even spell it backwardly as Dog etc. But when you come to the word Allah in arabic it simply means the one true God (unlike any other) it can't be translated or manipulated in anyway. It stands for the creator of all and that's it.

I revere him soo much actually.. it can be said, Allah guide me to Him thru syekh ahmad deedat (rah).. He is the main reason why i accept islam with all my heart, bRain, and soul.. coz he makes me realize that we can see faith in logical way.. I was born muslim, and a person who really think that "spiRituality" is a pure NonSense, even until today.. so i never actually believe in any religion.. i'm not even sure if God really did exist.. But by "coiNcidence", i watch one of his vid, the 3 hours vid where he said "i would put my head on the GuiLotine".. that sTatement really sHocked me.. after that, i start to think that maybe, i can find God too with only logic.. So, the first thing i do from that, was to pray to God, with raNdom salat, coz that's the only thing that i know.. that i said to God, "ya Allah, if You really do exist, then please give me an uNdeNiable sign for me that You do exist, which i can understand with my bRain, which would makes me unable to deNy You".. And wallahi, did you know what Allah gave me? A pure logical definitions of God, which can only fit with Allah, The Creator of The Spacetime Continum.. And that's enough for me.. more than that and i think i would really go Insane from the "BoundLess Infinity".. It's somthin which i cannot even deNy by any means.. insha Allah i would still be a muslim even if i was the only muslim alive.. alhamdulillah.. God has no god, He is the one and only. He is eternal, no begets nor begotten and none is alike the Only One. God is beyond imagination. Those who imagine the image of God will ruin themselves. In darkness who worship the nature, more in darkness who worship the thing they create. There is no religion besides God but Islam, to submit and surrender to Him as a servant.
