Amen! I wasn't raised Christian but God still reached out to me. I was a heathen and yet God gently led me. I even continued a sinful life except I no longer enjoyed it. I was crying out in my heart for help. And God kept reaching out for me. I finally went in all the way one day crying and weeping and began to daily feed on the Word of God and praying for God to help me line up. Slowly but surely He did. He supernaturally delivered me from alcohol and drugs and then cigarettes. And then men. When I finally realized my salvation was in God and not men and I had enough Word in me to walk after God and away from those things that hindered my walk with God my life became blessed instead of the curse. Don't give up on your loved ones. My parents finally came to Christ. My children are as well and I know that God is still speaking to them just like He is still leading me. Pray for them. Love them. Love them better than the world. 💪🤺🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thanks brother , it has been nine years since this message came out and now in 2023 i found it !

I hate to admit I made Pastor Washer an idol. But I needed to hear this message I had already heard from someone else from Him, my own mother. I had dismissed the message from my mother because I was holier-than-thou. God is the source of truth, and I can't offload the responsibility for discernment onto anyone, no matter how trustworthy, of discerning for myself. Otherwise eventually you'll dismiss the people you view as "not quite good enough" to be trustworthy. Don't make my mistake.

brother me too. I love my mom, but I don't believe I've loved her like I should. or the lost. I want to love again. Not just believers, but also unbelievers. My family too. I also made Paul Washer an Idol and didn't see it until I believe God showed me. I want to get out of this mess I made and get back to my First Love Jesus.

my dad is moluccan puerto rican and my mom is white. my dad grew up very religious, but since he got with my mother that changed. my mother is “spiritual” she says, but she believes in that “new age” stuff. today we had a fight because she was talking about “nelly” a woman on youtube who learns her all these things and she basically said the same thing as in the bible, but then twisted into it not being from God, but from theirselves. so i told her about what the bible said, but ofc she didnt want to hear any of it. she started speaking bad on our religion and the bible. she started saying that pastors are pedophiles, so i explained matt. 24:11. she talked about how all we do is “ask for things” and think were doing right so i told her about Matthew 7:21-23. but what REALLY blew my mind and actually made me see how wrapped the enemy has her around his finger was when she said; “youre 19 you shouldnt be here at home talking about religion following a bible, you should be talking about s*x and boys and go out”. i was so blown away by this that i actually was too stunned to speak. it actually made me not want to talk to her anymore…

Praying for you now sister, it can be difficult to bear with lost family members but God Himself beared our sin...we must do likewise. Live your godly life before her and repay her with good. When you can't talk to others about God you can always talk to God about them. The LORD give you abundant grace...He will do it as His child ❤

This message is beautiful. I saw someone comment under another video that they had cut off their elderly mother, because she was marrying a man who had been divorced before getting saved. She said it was hard, but God would reward her for, "refusing to compromise Godly morals to maintain a wordly relationship with an unrepentant adulteress." It pained my heart to see so many folks coming in to praise this woman and sharing their own testimonies of disowning children or cutting off all contact with a parent or sibling over their disapproval of an alleged sin they'd committed. We should be an example of Christ and God's love to them, not just another reason to shun the Gospel, because of "hateful, perfectionist Christians".

Amen and Amen. many churches are going wrong way, thats what Christians been doing. it really hurts when I see them sin, especially my grandma, my parents speak dirty, talk gossips, im trying to tell them(correcting them) what holy bible saying, I feel our family relationships didn't improve at all, but I become strong enemies in my families. I am living so hard.(the hardness is inside of me, that enemy is a feeling, I didn't treat them bad, they don't know i am their enemy, but I know) we need to bear their sins when they do wrong. and pray God forgive their sins, for they don't know the truth. May God's patience, compassion, mercy fills me

I need some advice what if your family doesn’t agree with you and wants nothing to do with you at all. They say i am not saved they mock me and when I do call them is me talking not them showing any affection. Most of the like Jesus and Witchcraft and some smoke weed and I am a recovering addict should I keep going into that environment??? I say no because it’s messing with my mind I want to stay in my relationship with Christ it affects me to much to indulge both I have to walk away I will never stop praying for them and have no hate towards them but compassion to face that it’s leading me to a place I don’t want to be involved in any longer can someone give me an opinion????

Always go by with God in this. And for reference of love, look at 1 Corinthians 13 for the definition of biblical Love. Continue to bear them even as God has beared our sins even before we were saved, do not partake in old man lifestyle, but because you have been saved and because you are used by God, let them see you as a good worksman for God and a servant to men so that they thank God because you really are as you say. And when they cannot deny the Christ in you, you then preach the gospel not only in word but in conduct. Ik it's going to be tough, but God will love even if one turns and repents because you've been faithful
