Although please be careful of one thing. Recitation should not be played in the background whilst you're not attentively listening to it and it's a form of disrespect. The Ulema have spoken on this. Some shopkeepers play the Qur'an whilst people are busy in their transactions and no one is attentively listening to it. This should not be done.

The next time a person says “Jesus didn’t have to eat.” Ask them why Bible says “Jesus was hungry” in Matthew 21:18, Matthew 11:12, Matthew 25:35. Clearly he wasn’t self sufficient.
