My mom at some point, pressures me also. I usually get tired and unhappy, like the girl, I am afraid not to reach the expectations of my parents and other people. Good thing I am a christian and I have God, he guides me. Sometimes I still worry, what am I in the future, or being a disappointment in the eyes of other people, but everytime I remember I have God, I trust. Pray and believe, trust God's plans and timing!

But then my dream got shattered... But as God says.. He chooses foolish of the world to put to shame the proudy.... This fulfilled in my life... He used and still Is doing, in a manner that am no lesser than any person who own a degree but I don't. Now I understand through this movie that God was always hindering me from knowledge coz that was and is the weapon and work satan. Glory to God.... God is sooooooooo goooood ❤

I understand that seeking God is very important and the way to live. Living for God is and should always be my goal. But having a good knowledge and role in the society is very important too. Coming from a country like India where people often judge our successes, I see that they judge Christians mostly and because we lack the world’s knowledge, they find it hard to believe in our God. Because they feel like coming to a faith where most people are failures, isn’t a true God. Which I find is true. Becoming a true success in life is Good but always keeping in mind that we have a great life not because of our abilities but because of Who GOD IS! And He is the most intellect being that will ever exist. So... if we want to shine bright in a world of advanced technology, and be able to spread the good news to high ranked people like the president of every country, we better fight and study hard and rely on God because I believe that none of them would want to talk to someone who doesn’t have any background of knowledge whatsoever

thanks so much for this beautiful lesson. i feel like this movie is directly talking to me. especially when she says "some parents are highly intellectual, smart and capable but their children are stupid and incompetent." this is just the case with my family. sometimes when praying i asked God why this is happening to me and siblings upon all the efforts we do to improve my knowledge and competence but still remain at the same position. I remember telling my dad a couple of weeks ago, i wished i was like him. Then he told me God have different plans for us and that i need to accept myself as i am and do with it.

This movie is really amazing first i thought it's a movie just about mother-daughter relationship but when it diverts to the concept of God and fate that's wonderful.I really appreciate the writer's effort.

Read the first 3 chapters of Genesis. And then read the book of John from the Bible.

I'm going to enroll in college thus I'm watching this to get some motivation to always walk on right path reminding my parents hardwork and sacrifise. but it is difficult to choose between what we want to do and what our parents expect from us and want us to be however we must be optimistic and graceful

I will continue to stay low-key and try to humble myself. No more stress to get a good job. A mob and a bucket would make me extremely happy. God thank you so much for the gift of life status won't matter as long as Im not doing corrupt jobs.

It is just fine to desire a good job and knowledge. It just should not be a main focus and all consuming and basically, a God in and of itself. The movie itself expresses this because the doctor has attained was knowledgeable, but she kept the word of God above all. God wants to use people in powerful places. He wants you to be the best you can be at whatever and wherever He wants you to be. That may be a waitress or a construction worker or it could be a teacher, doctor or lawyer.
