"Christ Was With My Daughter" - Radical Forgiveness

19-year-old daughter of Kate and Andy Grosmaire was shot by her longtime boyfriend Conor. She died five days later on Good Friday. The Grosmaires’ ability to forgive Conor became his first experience of God’s love and led him to a new life in Christ.

Wow , this is crazy to me . I wish i had the faith and heart this parents have. The love of Jesus is just amazing and I cannot fathom this level of forgiveness.

Kate and Andy, thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony of love and forgiveness. You not only forgave Connor, but walked with Christ to visit him in prison because your end goal was reconciliation. 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.' I pray that God will restore everything that you lost. May the joy of the Lord be your strength. In Jesus Name, Amen
The second I heard Conner say,“normal people don’t forgive the man who killed their daughter I started crying”. Only Jesus can do what happened here.
Brought tears to my eyes, definitely felt the holy spirit in this testimony of love and forgiveness.

This is a powerful testimony. The world needs hope. Tos brings hope.
That type of faith is rare! It’s one thing to say I have faith in God and I believe it’s another to put it into action. It’s one thing to say I forgive him. It’s another two really feel it so you can get that peace in such a horrible situation.
Absolutely incredible! If God can forgive us and they can forgive Connor. WE HAVE NO EXCUSES. WE MUST FORGIVE OTHERS. Hard. But it must be doable. It’s intentional. Not feeling driven. 😔

Almighty Father, the scriptures tell us in Isaiah 53:5, "But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." We take hold of that promise for L N today. In the name of Jesus, we pray for healing of all health issues in their body. We command all illnesses to leave them in Jesus' name! We trust that You already won the victory on the cross. We place this situation in Your capable hands, with complete faith and trust in You. In Jesus' name, amen!

Thats so lovely. if i am murder victim, no way it’ll be this beautiful.
this was probably the first time in a while that i felt some what moved by a story, because it shows how everybody should act to each other. so does this mean we should all forgive each other? both republicans and democrats alike? like this could be one of the answers right here to all these problems going on right now. 🙏❤️

Forgiving is not the same as condoning! When you forgive, you aren't saying "what you did is okay". It's releasing the anguish over to God and being set free internally. Plus, God commands that we forgive! It's a choice, not a feeling.
Why do we need music to be able to absorb information? It's such a bizarre concept! I find it even not very polite. 👎
