My all time favorite original rock Christmas song. Love you Chrissie!!!

I always loved this one, but just now, I read that it was a tribute to a band member who died of an overdose, and suddenly the whole song has new meaning. It's like she's in denial, trying to understand where he's gone, trying to make her mind imagine that he's somewhere really far away, so far away that she can't reach him, through the snow, and she just can't get there. And in denial, she keeps thinking he's going to be home soon, keeps expecting to see him. It made me cry.
