Chrisette is NOT underrated at all. She is in a class by herself. Everybody in the business knows it; everyone who hears her knows it; all session musicians know it. Something else is going on. Idkvwhat 🤷🏽‍♀️

Her voice is old jazz, just amazing no one like her. Why is she not a top star

Her tone is of old jazz singers! Her and Jazmine just hit my soul!

The tone and control of her voice is excellent.

I'm still in love years later!! Her vocals are incredible!!! Definitely God Given!

I love the way he looks at her when she sings, he looks mesmerized and inspired as we plays the guitar.

The guitarist is VICIOUS!!!! He is the star here the way he complements hervocal acrobatics!

They won’t do anything for a buck. They don’t fit the visual mold. They express private opinions publicly. They want to control what they write or sing. They are genuine people with principles who know they are great at what they love. Mainly, if they are women, they can’t be molded by rappers!

At the same time people - underrated by WHOM⁉️ Who feels it knows it. Fame has a favored few always. That does not mean that others aren’t as good, twice as good often, and won’t be remembered. Some of these folk are simply of the moment. They won’t be remembered, covered, sampled and so on. Chrisette has made her Mark musically if she never does another thing. But she will keep reaching out, performing, writing. Definitely, other artists will be trying to cover her work. Hope she owns her publishing rights. It’s a business!
