His friend, Meagan, the teacher, worked for my husband at the college and she brought Chris to our Christmas party. She truly is a famous friend in our eyes and an amazingly talented teacher. She loved it when she came to our house and Chris's music was playing.

This is what country music should be singing about. The people you know, the places you've been, the places you've come from. Just because a big name like Chris Young comes from your town shouldn't be a reason to forget where you come from. I feel like with COVID being a thing, we need to return to the rural lifestyle and remember our roots, no matter who came from there, famous or not. You can't have fame and forget where you came from because if you let your fame run wild, you dishonour your family, friends, and your hometown. Bring back hometown value, not big world fame and arrogance!

When I was in the Army I had a fellow soldier ask me where I was from and I told him Knoxville Tennessee. He didn't know where that was. He knew where Nashville and Memphis were plus he had heard of Dolly Parton but didn't know where Knoxville was. Sevier county is the next county over from Knoxville (Knox county)

Chris young went to my college (MTSU) and graduated a few years before I started. He would still come back and do guest lectures and sometimes you'd see him just strolling around Campus. After I graduated they named one of the cafe's after him. But I talked to him a few times at MTSU. Super nice and down to earth guy. Edit: MTSU is in Murfreesboro. In Rutherford County and it's where he is from. Literally I'd drive past his old church every day on my way to school.

I typically don't like todays country but I love this song.

I come from Rayland Ohio. Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Farm town. Our prom song was International Harvester and our Prom King rode in on a hay wagon pulled by his dad Larry's Massey. Our little dusty town is 379 people and no police. No red lights, no stores except a Dairy Queen haha. Love it and wouldn't trade it for the world.

When we did have a cop in town i was about 17 and he pulled me over coming back from my dads 4th of July party at like 1 am. He walked up to my car and said, Ryan, what the hell are you doing? "I can smell the booze on you, get your ass home" haha.

Chris Young I’m not on either of those apps I was on both before Chris Young is imposter stole my identity got me kicked off of AT&T’s email that I’ve had since email begun due to fraudulent activity then took all my education and sold it to somebody in the Philippines so that they can use it so I don’t go anywhere
