I absolutely love the fact he always plays a working class guys guitar. Not a 5000+ custom Polish coffee table.. Much Love and Respect, Thanks for getting me through my days stuck in the melancholy... Learning this asap..

@@Moodster93 a lot of our favorite guitarists are NOT playing $5000 guitars :) Once you go past $3500-$4000 the guitar isn't really getting better in any functional way, it will just have extravagant polishes and gold inlays etc.

@Matthew Davies yeah bud, i think kiesel guitars are a stepped up ibanez. Ive always kinda thought that. I feel like they share alot of the same functionality buy keisel kills with there aesthetics. By far. 2k should get you almost any used keisel. Man is there some sweet body styles.

@@vasiapatov4544 i do take your comment in all seriousness to be a factual statement, however yeah some do have 5000$ guitars, sorry to say it but yeah. They may not have paid 5k for there guitar because they get it based off the fact they are gonna be seen with it tons of times by tons of people. Check out my dude patrick sheridan from FFaA hes got 5 custom mayones he tours with. Tell me thats not almost 25k in guitars for me and you to just buy. You are right. However it never seems to amaze me the links people will go to to make a comment. Like whats the diff between 3500 4k and 5k i mean to be real if you got 3500 to drop on a single instrument you got 4k or 5k or whatever you want at that point.

That right hand picking is so smooth, especially considering being tuned that low on a 6 string (even if the string gauge is heavy).

I love the composition of this song. Guy is definitely a musical genius. My only gripe is that crazy bend in the wrist. Playing like that can lead to bad joint problems n ultimately the end of a guitarist's career

You can hear two guitar tracks on the album, both by Chris. For their live performance they Play just with Chris/one guitar, maybe the second as a sample. In the early days, shadow of intent had two guitarists.

As someone who knows nothing about guitar, can someone explain to me how he gets such a low tuning on a 6 string? Is it just really really thick strings?

It is in drop b, which is typically the lowest tuning one would use on a 6 string. If he typically plays songs in this tuning he would run a heavier gauge of strings (>52) since he has no need for standard tuning. Anything lower than this like drop A or is played on a 7 string tuned AEaDGBe🤘
