All jokes aside, Chael really should include himself on the list of successful moves up in weight, sure he got cheated in the Jones fight, but he tapped out Shogun in the first round. Then he abused "Garble Garble" Silva, Rampage, and Ortiz. He really made 205 lbs work for him.

Not that the KO is harmless, just that it's better than continuing to get rocked over and over.

Thank you. Chael keeps making up facts to make his arguments. Even Cormier didn't look better going back to heavy weight. He looked amazing at light heavy weight and still looks great at heavyweight but there is no really argument that he is doing better at heavy weight than at light heavy weight considering how good of a light heavy weight he was.

I was thinking the same thing .conor quit after moving up , he felt the difference in power and the cardio that he was lacking .thats why he didn't fight close to his natural weight

@Bobby Mercer Was a time ago I watched the fight but from what I remember Luke lit him up on the feet pretty good before completly destroying him after Chris threw the spinning back kick. It wasn't really competitive from what I can remember.

Weisman probably won the first round, pretty much just by pushing Luke up against the fence and racking up control points, it was once Chris threw that wheel kick, and than Luke took top position, it was only than that it got dominant, but in Chris's defense, Luke's top game is off the charts, Luke's only downfall has been lack luster takedown abilities, and being hittable with a poor chin.

Some of you are missing Chael’s point. This was the first time Weidman never had a meaningful moment. Through 14 minutes against Luke that was an even fight . All his losses he won rounds or was right in the fight throughout. Luke it was the spinning kick, Yoel it was the flying knee, Gerard it was a controversial finish, Jacare he was winning most of the fight .
