Here we Are, Chris has finally taken the plunge and decided to buy himself a brand new Canadian retailed Grumman sport boat canoe which i will not disclose the value or price cause happiness has no value to it, as long as he is happy then thats all that matters.
This was a for sure a day to remember both good and bad,

a fun and exciting day , this boat doesn’t disappoint 🥰
We have the 15 foot Grumman square-back canoe with a 3 1/2 HP outboard and a 45 lbs thrust trolling motor. We don't have a trailer so we carry it on top of the SUV's carrier. We really like it my only issue with it is that it seems to be getting heavier every year (maybe it's just me getting older lol)

This year we used a Yamaha F6 OB ans its really lovely but loud. So good if we wanna get to fish hot spots fast but always so much more enjoyable with the quiet troll motor. She is a lovely canoe.. Hope you enjoy the rest of the season. For us, it's time to put it away for a vew snowy cold months....

What's with the extra panels down the gunnels?

Tqo main reasons. 1 is to keep the boat lightweight but strong so they act as structural reinforcement. 2 There's foam blocks so more flotation if the boat capsizes or takes on water. The panels are placed in this fashion more for comfort rather than just big foam blocks. Cheers Rob

@@itsadyerthing Thanks, I was wondering since my uncle had one of these years ago that didn't have those panels. He had put pool noodles that he cut a slit in down the gunnels for extra floatation and to protect the roof of his van. Getting the boat up and down off the roof was always "fun"
