Chris was doing the bass line in the butts remix when Tim took the lead.

This is my favorite solo work by Chris. I too didn't know he could go that low.

Since he did the the bass when Tim had a solo, yes, he can sing that low. Loved your surprised reaction. He can do all the parts and blend them into a choir. You're the best.

I was very surprised the first time I saw it on Chris’ channel! He is a master at arranging, along with his brother, Adam. The whole family is musical (I’m not sure about their father). All of those layered harmonies by Chris were really supreme!

I knew Chris could go high, I thought he took the third Tenor spot when he was in Home Free, but I'm reading now that he was actually a Baritone. Apparently, he's been working on both ends of his range. Good on him!

I love this song, have been singing it since my childhood days. Chris did an amazing job arranging this song. The scenery fits in with the song perfectly. Chris & Tim have a duo Long Black Train. Chris Rupp (Adam's brother) released a video of Bless the Broken Road on 3/27/2021, a trio with Tyler Walls & Dr. Jeff (check it out).

There are a lot of great Chris Rupp songs to choose from! If you want to hear his bass again, check out his “bass guitar” in Killing Me Softly- Cypress Fire (another group he founded). If you want to see/hear him actually playing bass guitar (and all the other instruments), check out Shine by Chris. If you want to hear a very emotional and heartbreaking song, check out Moving On. He is very talented!

Thank you for doing this. Not many people react to Chris' non-Home-Free work. He actually has two channels: ChrisRuppOfficial, and 7thAve Band. The latter features Chris, his sister Tristin, and a rotating slate of guest artists. Tristin has a YT channel, too. It contains music stuff, acting/modeling stuff, and nutrition stuff. This vid from her channel shows her in a bit role on Criminal Minds, where they were setting her up as a possible new love interest for Hotch after his wife died. They ultimately decided to go in a different direction, though. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJyIutqjdrLKdLA.html

I knew he had a decent lower range because he use to do a little bass in HF. Where has THAT lower-end range been?

Yes he can sing down there but, to my ear at least, I prefer Adam Chance's voice, but Chris is still amazing. What a great video by him though !
