George Kaftan Find me one example where someone was booed for being religious. Almost everyone in the country is religious and most of those are Christian, so this whining that people are coming after Christianity is just nonsense. If someone pushed their atheism in a speech like this you know damn well it would be all over the news. "Number 6 god isn't real and believing that is ridiculous." Too many athiests lately think it's their job to lecture everyone and force their views on other people, or even question someone's intelligence based on their spiritual beliefs. At the same time, religious people shouldn't try to force their beliefs on anyone else either. Everyone has the right to their own personal beliefs, and it's no one's job to try to force people to change. Besides, there are some things about the universe we will just never know and it's best to just leave it at that.

"If you have to poop at a party, but you're embarrassed because you're gonna stink up the bathroom. Just do what I do. Lock the door, sit down, get all the pee out first. Okay. And then, once all the pees done. Poop. Flush. Boom. You minimize the amount of time that the poop is touching the air, because if you poop first, then it takes you longer to pee, and then you're peeing on top of the poop stirring it up, and then the poop particles create a cloud that goes out and then everyone in the party will know, that you pooped. Just tru- Just trust me! It's science!" 8.) "Learn to pray. It's easy, and it's so good for your soul." 9.) "Nobody is perfect. People are gonna tell you you're perfect just the way you are - you're not! You are imperfect. You always will be, but, there is a powerful force that designed you that way, and if you're willing to accept that. You will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom we enjoy in this country that grace was payed for with somebody else's blood. Do not forget it. Don't take it for granted." What they probably thought was him just being random and silly, was actually a really clever allegory for the overall message… as you have to feed a dog medicine by slipping it into some meat-so Chris “fed” them with silliness, however it was all done to disguise some much needed medicine… i.e the cure, that by Grace we are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ! Although, even Chris wasn’t able to fully come out and say the name of Jesus publicly, especially not at the MTV Music Awards-he did however get the point across… they can use the generic name for “God” [to which there are many] all day long, and they can definitely openly talk about satan-even ritualistically praise him in performances while MILLIONS watch, but straight up saying the name of LORD Jesus Christ, that is strictly not allowed and if someone slips up, they’ll edit that part out every time!

It also serves as a testament to how your gifts are from God, and will be used by God to fulfill a greater purpose than you could think, while also bringing you enjoyment, a career, a passion, etc. His comedy started as a passion, turned to profession, and now he's on a national stage and the same comedy that got him there is the comedy he uses as a megaphone to give thanks to God to those who may otherwise not be so willing to hear it. Good stuff all around.

ABRAXAS while i would have to question that 60% in the USA are still Christian by 2018, does it really matter? Minorities can absolutely have more power than the majority, especially in media. Remember the causes of the Rwandan genocide were that Dutch supported the "Tutsi" minority and they oppressed the Hutu, who later fought back and killed many innocents. Atheists are pretty mean on the internet to Christians posting non-provoking comments all the time from my experience. Your own comments on others i saw of this video are quite the same.

One, I think it is measurably true that it is not the popular thing to be christian. Two, I think it's audibly soft the applause when he said anything religious, if you watch the crowd you can see less than half actually applauding; and I'd wager less than half of them are actual practicers of a religion. It was extremely brave to take that stand, especially within the confines of Hollywood, the most atheistic/agnostic crowd that exists who are skewed to the side that christianity is an enemy to "acceptance" of all people.

They're ignorant little pieces of shit who have been brainwashed by the liberal media into believing guns are evil and that getting rid of them will stop those with their mind set on murder. The mental health system is the problem, not the tools millions of law abiding citizens own responsibility and use to guarantee the lives and freedom of themselves and others. Anyone who disagrees is simply a fool who doesn't see the world they live in, and doesn't realize disarming the populous is the first step in tyranny. He was only able to directly proselytize what was *very clearly Christianity* to his audience (specifically children) for 3 minutes on a nationally broadcasted award show, and not yell "JESUS, IN CASE YOU DIDN'T REALIZE. Um, Chris Pratt isn't Catholic. He's a non-denominational Protestant. (He used to be raised as a Lutheran Protestant.)

Wow, someone in Hollywood who knows who to really thank for his success and life. Way to have courage to speak your faith Chris in a place and culture that only tolerates points of view other than Christian. You are a light in a very dark place. Keep the light burning brother.
