    I love this video so much. I'm grateful these guys were able to collaborate, but my favorite part, aside from the virtuosity on display, is watching the Snarky Puppy guys' reactions during Potter's solo. Love how they're jamming out just as hard.

    He can really play, sounds solid, love that he plays the blues, you can hear a lot of influences and whatnot in his playing. I love how tight he is rhythmically with everything that he does. Best in the world? No.

    Had a talk with Chris Potter once one on one and gassed him up similarly. Guy is super humble, nice and gave me very helpful advice.

    Dang - just studying and replicating Chris's phrases could be my lessons for the next year...oh to be just 10% as good as him...this is one of the most epic sax solos I've ever seen....I love how he summarizes the performance...oh my God...what else can you say? I just transcribed one little phrase he had - the muted tonguing thing and it's just brilliant.

    You know what...I actually prefer the room recording versions of this when you can hear the reverberations, the overtones, the harmonic mess and the crowds excitement. The Drums sounds so tame in this but in the "room recordings" it's sounds INTENSE!

    On stage: teacher/master putting on a clinic to a group of students who can't wait to devour everything their ears can possibly absorb. I mean the phrasing is just insane. No wonder Chris has remained relevant all through the years. The second he plays his first note, his tone instantly hits you with an impact so undeniable, you know you're in for a treat! Absolutely awesome!
