The only reason I can think of for why someone would be getting a pasty after a night out, is because the takeaways might have been closed, after 4am or 5am. Whereas one of the *Greggs Bakeries* in the city centre, is open 24/7. I remember stumbling across it in the middle of the night, which I think was when I was on my only trip to *Halo* later known as *Church Leeds,* among other bars/nightclubs at the distant top end of town, and thinking "what the hell is this doing open at this time?"

I lived off Brudenell Rd from 1997 to 2000. What was he doing buying pasties - his friends must have been doing that to confuse him. Any normal person was eating a kebab after the pub.
