In my pursuit to devoting the rest of my life to overcoming human disabilities this is one of the the documenters I have ever scene. I want to give people the chance to compete in events that never did good at school or sport. This is total inspiration. Do you know what it feels like when you are the only child who doesn't receive his Jiu Jitsu and years later hears his name go pst the finishing line after doing a 205km bike ride up and down hills in less than 8 and 1/2 hours. You keep up your good work Chris.

Isn't it cool when timing and being ing in right place at the right time and end up in such a cool story.. I am bummed at the fact there isnt more of a response to this.. So I'm going to take the time to give my honest sincere ( just happened to be posotive as well) opinion and thoughts on such a true American Hero. Chris showed up at a time when the world needed a hero and him shocked more folks have time to like a stupid cat video but not a true American Hero... With the health issues and physical challenges he was dealt this is like so amazing to do just the 2mile swim.. I surfed the North Shore of Hawaii for 2 decades and still would but I had a surf injury that resulted in an amputation. So I can tell you to swim in a pool is one thing to swim a. Whole mile but 2 in the open ocean is insane hard. What ya going to do if you get tired out there. What if there's a slightest rip current. If you fail and run out of steam u drown out there. Not when theres jet skis to rescue you when your racing but when your training with your friends and there isn't medics n skis on sight. A lot of people don't realize I surf big 20 foot waves for decades and I can barely swim around OB Pier ( SD ocean Beach pier is the longest non military civilian pier on west coast of USA but no way is it 2.4 miles round trip but maybe 1 mile. I've almost drown a few times as u don't have your surf board to rest on when u get spaghetti arms and cant swim any more you will drown and you will die if u don't find a way to keep going.. This is not only hard but really really scary. I surf 5 hours a day for 2 decades and I can't do it !!!! So u folks realize this ain't no joke or a " feel" good story this is real $|-|¡+ excuse my language . Chris is a bad ass dude Mad respect for him Aloha and Mahalo JT
