Thank you for reacting to Chris and especially this song. I just love this "cover" from Chris. I've listened to it so many times and it gives me chilles everytime. His voice is amazing. the way he playes the guitar. The tone of the guitar. The simplicity of this kitchen session is just perfect. I did exactly what you did the first time I heard this song cover by Chris. I sang along. Pliz react to more from Chris!!! As far as reaction channels go... I've seen alot of reactors on youtube and I really enjoy it. To see someones reactions the first time they hear a new song or artist is so cool. Maby I or someone else gave them the suggestion to a new artist or song and to see the reactor find a new song/arttist... I just love that. Like you said, it bonds you in a way. You connect together over something. Another thing is to discover new music/artist yourself! I've found so many new artist and music watching theese channels so it enriches my own life in that way. And you learn new stuff. Vocal techniques, video editing, colors, you name it. Be safe Björn

Hi and welcome back beautiful Rosalie. My reason for watching reaction channels is primarily to see others react to songs I like or love. I love to experience other people sometime get as emotional as I do with certain songs and artists. I just love Your reactions and Your thoughts and findings. Keep up the wonderful work.

I'm searching for music that hits my soul. I want to see how other people react to it. Another reason is to learn more about this music so I watch different reactors. I really like your way to react to music not only for psychology but for your empathy, honesty, for your humanity. I really appreciate you, thank you so much! Such a pity that you removed the globe! 😄 Sorry, my comment came too early, during your video you completely answered the question why I'm here

You ask why we seek out and engage with reaction channels. The reason for me is finding someone that can share an experience (and in your case augment) music in a way that feels communal. I've told people about you and that it was initially so surreal to see someone express out loud what is happening in my head. I didn't know until those moments how alone I felt because I just accepted that this experience was just for me. Thank you, Rosalie, for helping me feel less alone. It may seem a small thing, but your openness is a blessing I didn't know I needed.

I don’t usually watch reaction videos but I watch all of yours cuz I find music very therapeutic for me. My playlist is like my diary, you could see what I was going through during different times in my life based on the songs played during that time. I find that there are times that you hit the nail on the head in your videos making me feel seen and understood, I appreciate how you understand the connection between how much music can mean to a person. I love the psychology you bring to it. Not just with their lyrics but there’s also a lot of psychology just behind the music itself. There are some instrumental pieces that say sooo much to me! And I love finding more music that can help me on my journey. I so appreciate your channel!!

Hi Rosalie, I love your videos ! What I like the most about watching reaction videos... What I prefer is to watch reactions about songs I already know and love. The reactions of the person who's discovering the song accentuate, intensify even more my own feelings as I'm listening to the song again. For example the video where you reacted to Hi Ren by Ren moved me so much that I watched it over and over again. It's like a fix of emotions that makes me feel so good. When I hear "I hope I never lose the bruises that you left behind", I hear "I don't want the pain to leave because if I deaden it, I also deaden the joy you made me feel before". You are one of my most favorite people to watch react to songs because you're so sensitive and expressive and because it feels so genuine. Besides, I like your joy and your positivity very much and your comment are interesting. Thank you for what you're doing

Chris is a wonderful performer. his tonality is rich and raspy at the same time. he has many layers and textures to his vocals. his range is fantastic. there are two of his originals songs which are emotional too; 'If Not With You For You' and 'Cold At The Alter'. Chris also just released his debut album; 'Maybe Its Just Me', have a listen it is quite an enjoyable LP. this was a good reaction, glad you liked him too. thanks.🙂

I remember this dude from the TV show he was awesome then, and he's awesome now. This is one of the things I love about reaction channels. I have found several people who are now my favorites directly through reaction channels. Home-free, Beth Hart, jelly roll, rag'n'bone man, Ren. Also music has always been a huge part of my life, it's really thrilling to see younger people discovering the music I grew up on. I still find it hard to believe there are people out there who've never heard Any Led Zeppelin. In high school I was the guy who's always turning people onto new bands. It's kind of the same thing. Back in the day we used to sit around trading albums and talking about our favorite artists and songs. Now I get to do that with people all over the world. And why am I here because you are one of the most articulate and genuine reactors out there. I watched your hi Ren reaction, and subscribed immediately. And We love you❤!

Hi again, Rosalie! So, to answer your question, I started watching reaction videos because of THE CHARISMATIC VOICE. I'd always thought reaction videos were, um, stupid? I mean, I'll have my own reaction to my music, don't need someone else to tell me what I like, thank-you very much. But, then I see this opera singer reacting to Ronnie James Dio and Judas Priest; MY music. It was like watching a car wreck, at first. But then I learned to enjoy her reactions as she opened herself up to a world she knows nothing about. And then, I was scrolling around one day, and I found Ren. Like, one or two days after he dropped Hi Ren. See, six years ago, my wife of thirty years committed suicide by bottle. She'd been wet-brained for the previous six years. After her death, my world was ripped apart. I attempted suicide three times. Each time, God brought me back. BTW, there's no worse feeling than waking up after a suicide attempt. Ren's music hit me like a train. His story, his talent, his message....I just couldn't get enough. I started to watch Ren reaction videos, because seeing others have the same reaction I did made me feel a little less alone. That's how I found you. Everything you say about psychology and music resonates with me. And (I already told you this before in another message) when you looked in the camera and said, "You matter. Someone loves you. Someone cares." I felt like you were talking right to me. I needed, hell, I NEED that reminder. Cause, after your heart breaks, it does heal, but it never beats the same again. So, that's it. And I was I'm poor Essex how you took the time to answer my last message. Thank you, and please keep doing what you do.❤

I know it is late commenting 3 months later. I love your reaction. And not pausing unneccesary. And your talk after was good and interesting. So Why do i look on reactionvideos. A couple of reasons. Hearing people like you, and The charismatic voice talk intelligent and with insight is interesting. Also like Tribal reacts can be intelligent and interesting. It also about a song that i love seeing for the first time, and those moments like.. Wait for it, wait for it... It also give me an "excuse" to see a song again.. and again. Well. Thats that. My little insight, even if you not will see it 3 months later :)

I know how good Chris Klafford is. The reason why we watch these reaction videos is that we as fans , deep dive a bit into songs like this and want to share how much we enjoy them. We would normally show our friends or our family how good they are, only challenge is that family isn’t necessarily always ready to hear about, this talent. Then we find someone like you that we can kind of share this with. And then we see how nice you are, how you are enjoying certain segments and reacting to it. You react in your voice, your emotions and then your words. It proves that if you really like someone, like Chris, we can validate it here and enjoy it once again as we get your validation. That makes these videos really fun to watch.

Chris Kläfford simply does not do covers, he lays claims of ownership. You should listen to his song "I'm not ready" about when he found out his grandfather had cancer. His version of Billie Eillish "Ocean Eyes" is...just as fragile and naked as Billies but with the most manly voice ever. He goes toe to toe with Chris Stapleton in his version of "Tennessee Whiskey" but also brings a tenderness to it that mr Stapleton lacks. His duet with a girl he competed with on Swedish Idol, "Girls just wanna have fun" made me realize that that song actually has lyrics worth the while.

Some psycological thing, I guess. The loss of my own feelings drew me to reaction videos. I watched other people feel, when I couldn´t feel myself. The reaction videos have been healing for me.

We all have our favorite songs/artists and when someone else reacts to them for the first time it's intresting to see what kind of vibe they get. Will they get blown away or not beeing that impressed? For some singers the sky seems to be limit for their range and then it's fun to see/hear vocal coaches hear a such voice for the first time not knowing what to expect! I don't know much music theory so due to that i find it intresting to hear vocal coaches explain what they do and how they do it. Another thing is to read comments like what do the other viewers think of the songs. It's the worst kind of cliché i know but still music does bring people togther from near and afar.

You asked for theorys about reaction channels. I have one that says some of me and what I think many others could agree with. ... I think many people are very very lonely today. We lack friends and/ or people to "feel with". In Sweden there extreamly many lone households. More and more choose to don't even try to find someone. Or have friends too close. Music movies and all the stuff that make you feel something. Many as me dont have annyone to "feel them" together with. I love to feel together with reactor on YT. To pretend that he or she is my friend. I can laugh, cry, be emotional and plainly have a surrogate friend that I can feel and get input of something like music and all the stuff that I want to check out. Or even allready know but I want to see if and how the reactor will feel the same as I do. With a certain music for an example... I also everytime got the bonus of learn something new. And i also got the choice here to choose the reactor who checks out stuff that I am interested in. A good reactor for ( no matter the stuff they talk about/check out) . For me is humble, are not afraid to show emotions, are interested/ take an interest in what they have chosed to react to. Many bad reactors tend to think that they are a bit to full of themself. I follow you cause youre an "down to earth" person. That are not afraid to talk about both the dark and the light stuff. That have interesting videos and you feel like a generally very good person. You often talk about interesting deeper subjects. And you mix it with checking out different good music. And I am also interested in psychology. I have gone thru therapy witch both led me to discover different hurts in my emotional life. But first and foremost learned much about myself and why I am who I am. And for me it was life changingand among the best things ive done.... Send you and youre nearest ones lots of love !... /J/ Stockholm Sweden

Because I thought I would be so annoyed by all the pauses and comments "ruining" the music, so to speak! -But I discovered i began to listen to much more different music when I understood more about it! For example, before I almost never listen to Metal, today I absolute love Nightwish! Have the outmost respect for Sabaton! Rammstein is still a bit of a stretch for my taste, but I completely appreciate the artistry behind it.

Oh my gosh i was listening to this while working and was very surprised to hear accompanying vocal harmonics. I thought it was part of the song and was confused because the initial setup was the guy singing by himself into a single mic. Then I realized it was you! Amazing! 🎶

What drives me to watch this? The "wanting to understand". Better, at least. "My music" has always been english-spoken. Although I'm german. Starting with Marty Robbin's "El Paso", around 1964 (when I had learned to operate my parent's disc-player. (Funny: Arjen Lucassen from the Netherlands did a cover of it. And he's just 4 months older than me.) Now: El Paso is easy to translate. But some lyrics need interpretation. Here, it is tricky, to find out the true meaning. I.e.: I once found an interpretation of "First, we take Manhattan" by Leonard Cohen, that was completely off topic. By a german "Professor soandso"! I knew better. @Rosalie: maybe you wanna listen to that song: (I love the cover by Jennifer Warnes, btw:) The song was written in 1989 = 20years after "the summer of love". It says: "They sentenced me to 20 years of boredom. For trying to change the system from within." This refers to Rudi Dutschke. "Der lange Marsch durch die Institutionen." = Wir müssen unseren Weg gehen, bis wir in Entscheider-Positionen kommen. Dann können wir mit unseren Entscheidungen die Gesellschaft nachhaltig verändern. Easy to understand for me, as a german. So much to learn, when it comes to english-spoken lyrics. Plus: it's fun to communicate with others about it. To sometimes become aware of new bands. To tell youngsters like you about songs, worth listening to. To be part of a community, telling each other what to look out for. Most I'm watching is recipes. I can tell y'all that: the metal-commutity is more friendly, in general! I.e.: come up with a "traditional" recipe and some folks will try to roast you 🙂 Only knowledge can help against that. But that is another topic.

My daughter is currently going through a separation, and likely a divorce. 4 children and 13 yrs of marriage (15 altogether) He's crushed and holding on to ANY possibility of reconciliation and she is determined that separately their family will be healthier emotionally with Mom living a life she's not been able to work out with Dad...a stalemate so to speak. No abuse in this situation. So ok, I find myself more empathetic to my son in law's position ( although I deeply respect where my daughter is coming from she's got a pretty good head on her shoulders) and every song, I hear about heartbreak these days, I want to send her is to point out how much pain I believe my son-in-law is going through. ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. WTH?? Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks for listening ❤❤❤❤

@@rosalieelliottofficial i'm going to get you on your nerves with suggestion after suggestion. are you german? how about susanne sundfør with "when the lord" , a feature song for a documentary called self portrait, it portrayes fotographer lene marie fossen, who suffered from anorexia since the early age of ten. a very emotional song, you will never forget it, i promise.

I like reaction videos when I get nerdy/obsessed with a song/performance and at some point it's fun and interesting to see a reaction. And I like to "share" the experience with someone, and get new perspectives. I only watch reactions of things that I love.

i'm always up for stripped down music like this. the smaller the pallette, the bigger the artist. in this context i'd like to suggest ásgeir, who is incredibly talented. he had the best selling debut album in icelandic history. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iHZptNmSgLvWeaw.html Ásgeir - Lifandi Vatnið (The Day After Session) he also featured eivor on "only love"

Hm, what's up with the mic? Bad amp? The noise should not be there. 48v on? That mic does not need it. Hope you fix it, you are a great react-channel! Edit: As we are on the Swedish Idol, please check Jay Smith out! Another raspy singer, mostly grunge but still amazing voice! Cover of Madonna's Like a Prayer for example is superb! Less commercial today, but worth a listen!

Why reactions? You can get a thrill watching a "firsttime" of your favorites. My interest is hearing how Chris Cornell wrote Blackhole Sun or a music theory breakdown of tools use Fibonacci sequence. A why of how art is created ❤
