Judges should start scoring stair/ gap tricks higher again. I would love to see skaters start jumping down stairs again instead of only grinding down the big section

For these guys a grind down the big section hubba/rail is easier then a flip variation down a big stair/gap, right?

Why are the judges so hard on Chris Joslin when he’s out there performing tricks that are fucken hard. He deserves more credit

Run was easily 9.1. And that backside flip over the rail was also a 9. Count that together and he was at least tieing with 1st.

Part of what makes Chris your favorite skaters favorite skater, is he continues to dominate session after session, never complains about judges, he just shows up and shreds. Honestly one of the greatest to ever do it.

There really isnt enough consideration and love for gap tricks in sls. I feel like most pros wouldnt be able to do most of the gaps joslin has done in sls, and definitely not as clean or consistent. Or ive forgotten how good other pros are at gaps in contests because theyre so disincentivized 😕

I’m 37 years old, I stopped skating many many years ago. That is a 12 stair. It took me six years just to Ollie a ten. I’ve seen him do a backside hardflip (Also known as a ghetto-bird) down I believe Hollywood 16. Guys NUTS. Edit: I will say? PJ ladd was always my favorite, that blue VHS tape I wore out (PJ Ladds wonderful, horrible life) 🤘

I don’t think anyone is comparing him I won’t argue that the 1st place guy wasn’t deserving of it, and judging skateboarding is kinda of hard the more I think about it anyways I’ll agree with his run wasn’t a nine but that run should have been high 8, just my opinion

We're not going to let them judge. Wow what an egotistical thing to say. I don't care if hes Tony Hawk. Seriously. If he thinks it's cool to just ignore the crowd and place themselves on a pedestal. This is supposed to be fun. We shouldn't be booing because judges award the same tricks constantly apparently. Variety is literally in the judging rules. Fot instance we all know the dude that does lazers in his sleep. Do something new. Tony should probably shut up and worry about the variety section not being enforced before SLS is gone. Also I'm sure it will happen. He's not a god. He doesn't radiate a holy light. He's just a dude lol.
