Considering zadorov turned down a 4 or 5 year deal @ 4.5 from vancouver, their guess is quite light.

Zadorov made 3.75 in 23-24, and Johnston projects him to want 4 million only?! If that is the case, why in the world has the Canucks not sign the guy? Myers will take a pay cut (my guess is he will sign for 3 to 4 mil, which saves the team 2 - 3 mil a year), if only 250k of that savings is what it needs to sign Zadorov, I will personally chip in $25 to make that happen!

Nucks already offered $4.5 x 4 or 5 years, which Zadorov's camp has already rejected. No team is getting him for cheap, including the Canucks.

Thats the projection but he's gonna want a lot more. Dude has never made more than 3.75 and is 29. This is the year for him to get his big contract.

I like zadorov but he already said no to 4.5, he's not a top pair guy over the season, I think canucks have to look elsewhere if it's above 5. Big guys break down earlier too.

Whats an 80-90pt player worth? 8-9 million? No. 10-10.5 sure. You all going to get butt hurt over 1 million extra a year for Elias? Smh

Why on earth would you trade Petterson. He had a rough 2nd half. He was playing hurt, that had a big impact on his skating and planting to shoot. He made Hoglander a 24 goal scorer. Mikheyev should have had another 20 with how many times he was set up. Give him 1 goof goal scorer and he will get 120 points. He is a top 10 centre on any list.

Petey over $11m kills me. That effectively closes the Miller window. He's a total bum. I want him gone. Id rather have just Lindholm. Hopefully FA let's management facilitate a trade and doesn't get in the way. But. Ya know. Doofus nepo baby and all that.

Petey's points-per-game career stats for current players puts him around #18 in the league, ahead of Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Barkov, Eichel, Braydon Point, Tavares, Guentzal, Backstrom, Aho. Slightly trailing Patrick Kane, Stamkos, Pasternac, about 6-7 points/year behind Ovechkin's career pace. He's a career +56, Calder trophy winner, 32 career game winning goals. Pettersson has not peaked in my opinion. He's 25. He committed to the Canucks for 8 years on a fair deal. So, what's the problem? A bad playoff with a bad knee after a year with wingers that couldn't find the net with a map? Mikheyev 11 goals all year, some of those empty net no doubt. Terrible take. He was the leagues leading scorer until he got injured and Mikheyev forgot what goal scoring was. He just needs a good winger. Miller played great but had Boeser. Sign jonathan marchessault or Lindholm. Lindholm or Petterson can play wing until Lekkerimäki is ready and we have some real depth.
