Otto Wanz (* 13. Juni 1943 in Graz, Österreich) ist ein ehemaliger Wrestler und Schauspieler, der unter dem Ringnamen „Big Otto“ Wanz bekannt wurde. Mit einer Grösse von 1,89 Metern und einem Gewicht von 175 Kilogramm zählte er zu den Super-Schwergewichten.

Wanz said the secret of tearing those phone books was that they had to be fresh out of the print. Once they got older the spine would be as tough as leather and impossible to break and tear.

I have torn phonebooks exactly like those shown here as a young man - not as fast as Otto of course, but I could tear them, and all of them were used for month or years, so this can't be true, as I could indeed tear them.

@@richardfeynman5560 Well, Wanz gave it as explanation once when he failed to tear some phone books. Said the books were old and the spines therefore really tough.
