70 now, slowing down, mellowing out. These 60's songs recharge me for another day. Sad to say but most of us of that generation are passing away. In ten to twenty years we will all be gone. Music is the history we leave behind. I made a file of songs I want played at my funeral. Happy songs of good times. We live on in the memories of those we leave behind.

I'm 66, going strong. I was just a teenager playing guitar in a crappy band when this came out, didn't have a clue how they got that sound. Loved the song, loved the movie...good times.

McGuinn on a Rickenbacker like he's played for 50+ years which makes his sound so identifiable. It takes me back as I've been listening to it for all those years and more. What a pleasure.

What a tour . Sat next to band that flew in from California in Austin Tx. Hillman said that group of musicians 🎶 were some of the best he ever played with. What a show.

"Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person that you really are" --- Cobain, 1991. The Byrds made a song out of that quote back in 1968 with some really groovy lyrics "And when it's time I'll go and lay Beside the legendary fountain".
