His humor is unrelentingly British and his forte is lampooning British society and media. GTA is in great part a staunch lampoon of American society and media. I dont know if it would have worked.

Well he has done a recent movie with Anna kendrick, which seems pretty risky and funny,,,,,,,, but its not the day to day,

I loved Dudley Moore, but he was outclassed by Peter Cook. Cooke and Morris was a meeting of minds though. And both of those minds were sick and twisted. It was quite something.

No, they meant that 'ass' and 'arse' are different words, it's not an accent or anything, we do use both words over here. Usually when you quote someone you write down what is actually said, not change it to allign with your own personal lexicon.

I particularly liked the bit about his dad putting him in prison as a young child and him being stuffed down an adult's trousers because he had no clothes of his own.
