Chris Harris talks Cars with Chris Goodwin

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This week, Chris Harris and Edward Lovett welcome professional test driver and racer Chris Goodwin to the podcast.
Talk turns to how Chris worked his way up through the ranks of talented drivers, what it's like to have Ron Dennis explain your career options, and why it's so hard for newcomers to learn how to set up cars from scratch.

Chris Goodwin, you've been a huge part of my life even though I didn't know it up until I met you at Brands with the MP4-12C, and you still are, every time I drive my 675LT. p.s. you missed out the bit about being a TV F1 presenter ;-) and your time in the Foxy shed :-) Harris, you cost me a bloody fortune ... the day you posted the black MP4-12C around Bristol made me crack open the 6 piggy banks I'd been filling since age 6.. thank you.

Really enjoying these podcasts. You really do dig in and explore all thats needed to make a comprehensive interview. I also love the fact that Chris lets the interviewee speak and own the chat sometimes... it enables them to give more!!!! Keep them coming team!

These are fascinating conversations! The insight on the development of what will do down in history as the second technical revolution for petrol motorcars. Simply epic

Chris, you are the only other person I've heard say "His Nibs", a fondly remembered saying of my dear old mum. Cheers

Chris Harris is a true gentleman for not delving too much into the Senna, as he was a vocal critic of the car 😉 Enjoy each and every episode. Thanks for a great series!

Binge listened to all the episodes over the day yesterday, and this is going to give me my fix of hilarious petrol soaked stories today. Selfishly perfect timing for me too, as just sitting down to my lunch here in Hong Kong. Love this channel!

Cerbera is the modern car a 1920s Chicago mobster would make his company car to make his rounds and collections. I believe the Speed 12 was the ultimate version of the great Cerbera. Would be great to get a company history on the TVR brand as it was never experienced by the North American public. Good comment brother!

I wish McLaren would employ someone who knows how to make their engines sound good. They all sound like my Dad's old Mark 1 Cortina being revved to death. To me 50% of a great car is the sound it makes and all this turbo and catalyst nonsense is killing great sounding cars!
