Chris Farlowe - Albert Lee's 70th - Who's that guitarist?

Музыка

Chris Farlowe has always been into rock 'n' roll and blues, and in the early sixties enlisted Albert Lee as his guitarist in the Thunderbirds, where he remained for several years. The two have performed together a few times since then, but Chris is especially keen to re-record his version of 'Stormy Monday Blues' with Albert.
The world's first ever official Albert Lee documentary reunites world-renowned players of recent musical history in a revealing look at Albert's extensive career in music.
The documentary will accompany a planned solo album, culminating in a special concert celebrating Albert's 70th birthday, which will be held at the end of 2013 and marks over 50 years as one of the most widely-respected guitarists in the world.

I'd heard the name Albert Lee before, however none of his music till the Basement in Sydney now I've got my hands on several of his records & watched what's posted to KZread & now fail to understand why he's not more famous as he must be the best rock a billy guitarist alive (now Chet Atkins has passed on)
