Welcome to Madison, Wisconsin Hometown of Chris Farley. In this video we will pay tribute to the legendary comedic actor Chris Farley known best from Saturday Night Live, Tommy boy, Black Sheep, Coneheads and many other great films. Chris Farley was born in Madison Wisconsin in 1964 enjoyed the Ark comedy theater before joining Second City in Chicago. He became a favorite and ended up becoming a Saturday Night Live legend before starring in several films. Chris Farley tragically passed away in 1997 in the John Hancock tower in Chicago Illinois from a drug overdose. He was laid to rest at resurrection cemetery in Madison, Wisconsin.

Thank-you for this video. This is my current home, & I live 5 miles from his final resting place. He was my childhood as well, & I will miss him ALOT!! Wish he could have said no to all those drugs! R.I.P CHRIS

I could spend hours in that little chapel taking in the soft hum of the ac and the wonderful,mystical smells that churches and chapels offer. I am sure the souls would provide warm energy. Rest in paradise Chris

His brother is Jim Farley CEO of the Ford Motor Company.
I got to spend 4th of July with him the year before he died. We were at the Edgewater hotel and he came with his sister Barb. We partied all night in his room and he was awesome! RIP Chris

I grew up in the 90s and 2000s (born in 91). I remember my grandpa taking me to see Beverly Hills Ninja back in 97 after my dad didn't show up to pick me up one time (one of my fondest childhood memories). Not only do I share a birthday with Chris Farley but I just graduated from Marquette University like he did lol (by coincidence)

I grew up on the likes of Dean Martin jerry lewis and sammy davis Jr. Farley was funny, and all will be missed.
