It's true. The actors that have been in his immediate circle aren't old enough in the business to have done some things, fall down and then get back up again to a triumphant better life and round 2 of their career like Downey. Been watching his career since the 80's. The only other seasoned actor in his immediate movie circle would be Samuel Jackson..... the hardest working man in the business...imo.
His Bostonian accent was loud and clear during this entire interview! Him with the puppies was adorable, but once the older dogs came out my heart fully belonged to him~

I run a non profit rescue in the Midwest. Chris is the real deal with these dogs. I’ve watched a few of these now and several of the actors/actresses pretend to like the dogs because they are supposed to and it “looks good” but they have no real connection. Chris not only loved dogs but he was understanding of the way they think and what they need to be comfortable

6:48 I love this. I worked at a dog kennel for a while and there was this one older Rottweiler who didn’t trust strangers. The day he finally walked up to me and asked me to pet him was just the best day of my life. And then after that he became just a big baby who wanted endless love and snuggles lol
The amount of serotonin this releases, I SWEAR.

Chris Evans is just a good hearted soul. The puppies did their thing and had a good time plopping and wallowing and tail wagging all over him, and he was so sweet to the older dogs and really knew their needs. Not all people know how to show love to all God's creatures and the "less thans" of the world. Chris Evans and Keanu Reeves. God bless these guys!

I love how other interviews seem to be mostly them answering the questions while playing with the puppies as a secondary thought but Chris was just here for the puppies and couldn't care less about the interview
