    Biggest regret is not smoking a spliff with his deceased son. I love this man so much. He’s poetry in motion, he is hurting. Hurting so fucking much. He thinks he’s failed as a father, Chris there is no perfect blueprint. And you can’t prepare for anything not truly anyways, life doesn’t work like that. Sorry man. You hurt so much.

    Losing a child is something you never get over. It’s just something you learn to live with. He said he did something unspeakable and then the interviewer asked what it was….he said it was unspeakable meaning that he can’t speak about it….come on now. Interviewers prod for reaction any way they can so much of the time. He asked him the most emotionally charged questions and then got emotionally charged responses.

    As an interviewer, you should know the risks of bringing up deeply hurtful personal topics and tragedies. You make the other person very emotional and the thing can get heated quickly. Specially if you're dealing with a fighter. I dont blame Eubank for his emotional behaviour on this segment.

  • @Rafaelnewyorkcity

    @Rafaelnewyorkcity

    Agreed. Most people’s daily fight involves absolutely no real violence, or even a threat of violence. A fighter’s motivation is often deeper than a desire for success or even to win. For some, it’s just about survival. I think there is a lot of subtext being communicated here, when it comes to body language etc. I actually commend Rob for not just ending the conversation. All due respect to business people… But if you’ve never fought physically, or pushed yourself in that way, there is a disconnect between real tough guys like Chris and guys who only perceive themselves as tough due to their financial success. It is a false confidence that is actually pretty frustrating to see sometimes. Not to say that fighters are BETTER than others in society. Just that if you know this guy is a legit tough guy… don’t go poking with a stick and expect him to wanna play nice. Reminiscent of interviewers asking Mike about prison time and allegations etc.

    It baffles me that people don't understand why he is acting the way he is he acting (coming off as arrogant, etc). The man lost his son. You can see the pain. The questions would be hard to answer without getting emotional. Remember, he's a fighter. There's always been this "beast" locked away and tamed, but the loss of someone so close can certainly break those chains. A little more understanding would be appreciated on his behalf. He's been nothing but respectful in many interviews. This man is fiercely "real," and this is an extension of that, just filled with more emotion. Anyway, I hope this makes things clearer...

    It makes alot of sense, alot of boxers box to cope with deep emotional pain like a defence mechanism, and in order to box you've got to be aggressive. Look at Mike Tyson, that dude is pretty relaxed and respectful in most interviews, but if people are too disrespectful to him, you can see flashes of the face of Iron Mike appear

    This man rambles and forget what was asked. He asks what the question was and proceeds to get into the weeds of his thought process. Is he well? I've seen other videos of him and his speech and demeanor are polar opposite. He speaks as though he is and entity and not a person. He has this illusion of grandeur that some people with certain mental illnesses possess. He needs to be seen by a clinician. The theatrics and constant modulation between extremes is worrisome. He has passive/aggressive behavior. Is he schizophrenic? I understand he was a boxer. Has anyone in his family or anyone close to him denoted personality changes? His other videos he appeared to be soft spoken, humble and very present. This is NOT the same personality.

    Chris Eubank boxed for 13 years, 19 successful title defenses. Became a boxing legend and a household name, yet the biggest offer of his life was to walk around and smoke a spliff with his son. This without a doubt would've been a moment where he could've opened up, bonded and shared an experience. Life is all about experiences, and we really shouldn't take things for granted. I don't blame Chris Eubank for rejecting the offer, he is a warrior and warriors don't show a chink in one's armour, but life's biggest blessings are the smaller things. Giving love to your loved ones. Thank you for sharing this lesson Mr. Eubank I fully understand what you meant and why you chose to answer the way you did

    Everyone says how weird he is but he speaks so much truth. I was expecting a mad interview but in all honesty its all true. I was very impatient and snappy until my wife had our son and it was only then i learnt to be patient.

    Idk what this dudes going on about half the time. I feel for him, though. The only thing I can say is I've seen far too many parents bury their kids, especially with the current boom of overdoses. My brother being one. Shortly after my grandfather, my best friend and the one who raised me. Some days you're ok, you can manage fine. Other days you hurt so badly inside it becomes a physical pain. I can't help but feel like the struggle I went through getting clean helped prepare me for these new troubles I face.

    I get he is grieving. But he is very arrogant and pompous! Rude to speak to Rob the way he does. Regardless of what happened you can at the least not act in such a manner. He goes from one way then to the other. Extreme! I know Rob said he wasn’t uncomfortable but I was feeling irked just watching how he was answering and domineering and controlling things. Disrespectful in my opinion. Respect is a two way street!

    Raise a son up to their thirties and then see how you feel if they die - bitter shocked angry reeling, and it can lead to mental breakdowns which seems like is happened here. Very sad situation, no one can help him either grief is a journey travelled alone

    @@Slm4659 please don’t try to talk to me about grief because you have no idea my story and the losses that I have experienced… I have never had a human child, but I have experienced more grief than your average person in a lifetime… and I still choose to not allow that sorrow to define me. Yes, I have days that are much harder than others and as you said, it is a lonely road and very individualized however, you can choose to either wallow in that grief, or try to find some peace, knowing that none of us are infinite in these human bodies only in spirit.

    @@Slm4659 no i have not lost a child but i recently lost my husband and before that my dad and all of my grandparents. My mother in law lost her son who was only 38. Q month of just turning so. So just stop it. If one can not cope with the loss of a loved one. Therapy is highly recommended. And inner self development. I get his pain. But also the eccentricities is a bit much. It’s egoistic. Could imagine maybe difficult being his child if he is like how he was at the end of this clip a lot. The never being sure if saying the right thing, and no matter what u do say it's the wrong thing Can be quite damaging navigating a person and more so parent like this. If u are constantly reminded that u are the inferior person here. And u must submit to the superior person. Don't know if he is the same as a parent, but just an observation...

    I agree, he’s obviously feels vulnerable when he’s sad and has to reassure dominance to convince his ego…. I’ve experienced the loss of my child and I did go pretty dreamy and insane but my protective mechanism was simply to accept the situation which made people question my love for her…. I reckon he can’t admit weakness to himself…
