The way Chris describes what he knows in such a direct and un-biased tongue in cheek way is so refreshing and easy to digest, WW2 docs are so bland and formal and make it hard to understand why countries had their motivations for things but Chrissy just roasts everyone involved in a way that’s really sincere and honest and funny that makes it easy to follow along with xD

Idk... my read is that Bobby is visibly less patient with K....

This episode is why I miss history hyenas. Chrissy and yannis drop that history knowledge like nothing and make it fucking hilarious everytime.

Yeah feels a little weird. Also khalyla gonna start flirting with male guests in front of bobby feels weird. Idk if tigerbelly is the same when they're not together. The only reason the dynamic worked was because them being together meant they could shit on each other and expose each other for funsies and be as vulnerable as possible because we knew at the end of the day they were together. Now that they're not it's like they have to tip toe around shitting on each other for fear of hurting feelings. Just seems off. Loved how he brought up that about 80% of Germany didn't know about the Holocaust. How many Documentaries seem to forget to even mention that is insane. Dude knows his shit

Close, but not completely on point. The idea that it was only the SS who hated the Jews is one of the convenient excuses that post-war Germany created, to wash their hands in innocence. Recent historic research has documented many incidents where the Wehrmacht also orchestrated atrocities against Jews, besides antisemitism was widespread in the German population. What's also not correct is Chris' assumption that history never changes. That's exactly the point I just made. Even today historians uncover unknown facts and anecdotes about WWII that at least partially change previous narratives. Same with any other historical period. Why that is? Very simple - History is NOT an exact science and NEVER WILL BE! Not that it matters, Im just saying....
