My brother picked this song to be played at our great -grandmother's funeral she passed at 99 I will always remember her and Home will always hold a special place in my heart. I helped carry her casket outside... I MISS YOU PANSY BRADLEY!!!

My son was in an abuse relationship for nine nightmarish years. This song tore my heart knowing how badly he wanted to come home and couldn't. This is one of the songs that will be played for my dad at my wedding. He died of cancer two years ago after battling it for 12 years. Rest easy to my dad. 1960-2016

I’m currently a full time college student 130 miles away from my family. I listen to this every time I go back. My favorite line, “I don’t regret this life I chose for me. But these places and these faces are getting old. So I’m going home.”

When I was younger, my mom and I would watch American Idol for every season it was on, meaning that this song was a big part of my childhood. In 2012, my mom died of her breast and ovarian cancer, and it happened so fast I didn't get to say goodbye. Well, in 2015, Chris Daughtry performed in St. Louis and I love his music, so my aunt and uncle took me to see him in concert. When he sang this song, I began to cry, remembering all the memories that I've had with my mom, including watching American Idol. So this song will always have a special place in my heart.

some say home is where the family is, others say once you leave home and you go back, it doesn't feel the same. Time and distance can make you change inside; my friend says that his heart is is in Cuba after 35 years living here. My other friend used to cry when he'd talk about his home. He's now married with kids and still misses home. If you feel something is missing, then its time to come home.

This is exactly what I sensed from my Hubby when he left me last year in April 18th! And the amazement was after I picked up My Husband's ashes crying my HEART out and praying to GOD our Heavenly Father HE spoke to me letting me know... "My Husband was up there with him and is no longer suffering?!!" OMG!!!That was Amazing Grace!!! ☝️😊

I was staring out into the night on the plane to Denver 5 years ago. Leaving Atlanta for good. I didn't know anyone, no job, no money, etc. All I knew was I needed a big change. I took a leap of faith. 10 days after arriving, I met my husband and I've NEVER been happier! Finally found my HOME.

Going home to see my doggos today. It's been difficult living away from home for my career and not being able to have them with me. I live for these visits. I know they don't understand why I left home, but if they could, I would hope they'd be proud of me.

I dedicate this song to my love and best friend, she killed herself a couple of nights ago and my life and heart have never felt worse. She played this on the piano for me once, and this song will always remind me of her. It's a reminder that even though I can't see her, she's there with me. Rest in peace Kaitlyn.... I'll love you and miss you always....

Man looking back life’s gonna be hard. Watching old videos of my brother and sister running around. Mom and dad video taping us. Hearing there voices, when they are gone is gonna be hard. Life is changing so much. Tomorrow I’m taking the biggest step in my life. Swearing into army. Got that nervous feeling, but the good feeling that lets you know your living life. This song really makes me almost tear up.

When I think of this song, it reminds me of the fact in my teens and twenties, I was an angry rebel child. Fighting and facing my demons, now I am approaching my thirties and a sense of peace has finally broken through and I feel more ready to be home. I feel the call of home. More stronger than ever now.

When my husband and I served in the military home was the my safe place. When he passed in 2002 home with my parents and family was the only place I felt peace. Now that both my parents are gone whenever I hear this song I bawl like a baby from a mixture of sadness for missing those I love who are no longer here and thankfulness that had such love, joy, and happiness in my life. I do look forward for the day when I enter my heavenly home.

This song makes me very emotional. It played in the night where the best day of my life was ending. Holding the hand of my Girl friend while she sleeps on my shoulder in the bus as we go home from a long day of our first date. This song also played when I was in my ride home from her house. The deep emotional feeling of happiness you feel that you were with her but at the same time you're sad that the day is ending and you don't want it to end yet. The feeling you want to savor the moments before it all ends. I just smile with tears in my eyes saying "This is true love" Now many things have happened. Years have passed. She has a new boyfriend now. And this song will remain a sad and happy memory to me.

Earth is our temporary home. Heaven is our true home. It was just me and my mom for a while, and we listened to 99.3 everyday and this song would play. It honestly makes me cry. It makes me cry because me and my mom actually used to be close, and we aren't now. I miss singing this with her in the car everyday on the way to preschool. Everytime I hear this it does make me cry.

This song is such a beautiful song I recently lost the person I was in love with by her leaving and it touches something in me in reality this song is really about going home to God and being with him not a love song..
