At this point, in the years following Chris’ death, I’m in the “anger stage” of grief because every time I watch an interview, such as this one, it just reminds me of the level of intellect that Chris had and that we can no longer be spoiled by. Selfish? Absolutely! Because musicians like him are generational! Thank God he’s of my generation!

This man had no egotistical airs about him..always a gentleman..well spoken he articulated his words well, he swore but not every other word ..no scandals...never heard rumors of infidelity..only one tattoo , on his left shoulder ..beautiful man ,beautiful voice , beautiful but sometimes dark lyrics..the only thing Chris Cornell wasnt blessed with was longevity ..I cant help but wonder ,Did he not know how blessed he was ,how talented ?..I sure miss him. Miss him alot.❤✌😎🌹

he would tell you thats not true...the first comment. To get your ideas across to masses of people and lead people, no matter in what fashion or style...there is always a hint of ego..atleast at a younger age when you are trying to present yourself. I haven't seen it done successfully without it, anyone that wants to be heard forces their way to a certain extent and cut others off to do so...like I said, atleast when starting out or younger ages, he definitely lost quite a bit of that over the years. Humans are weird and we need attention and want our things heard and seen and its just not possible without stepping on toes.

@@oldben1800 Chris said he had some dick headedness like his father. And for those who believe Chris could not do any wrong, he did. Do some thorough searches. Look deeper than surface crap. He always did. I adore Chris. I only discovered him last August. In that time I’ve had 3 dreams of Chris. And they were real. I can tell you, as strange as it sounds, when you tap into his frequency you will get spiritual information that usually arrives in synchronization. Whatever Chris had he knew it was powerful. You can’t be writing lyrics like he did in his teens and 20’s without knowing. Masterful genius who is still spreading his messages today. Chris is forever with us in his energy. Remember that and don’t be sad. But if you are, remember Chris said depression can be fun. ☮️

So handsome in a Harrison , McCartney way..so unassuming , he loved his family , he loved his wife..he loved his friends ,his bandmates ,and they loved him..he seemed to love life or the idea of it anyway...thats why I sometimes question his untimely demise..We sadly will never know Chris Cornells final thoughts ,his final actions. ..his final words, we just cant ,I feel we as fans all have our personal opinions , but ,no matter if it was suicide or foul play , we cant bring him back...and to me that is almost as tragic if not more than his passing.we have his music ,his songs and what a plethora of memories and talent that includes. He is sorely missed ,by a legion of fans ,here and abroad..and beyond..❤😎☮🎼🎶⚘

I'm 55.... these guys were my peers, got me through some very tough times in my 20s and 30s..... the Seattle Music scene from the late 80s until now will ALWAYS be my Camelot.... never knew any of them personally but it feels like I've lost family members. You will ALWAYS be missed..... put the good word in for me and save me a seat.

As his widow sues Soundgarden, listen here, he says "we write songs..." They have recordings for the 8 songs of a future Soundgarden recording, but she is withholding the masters. They have notes on the writers, length of song and whether vocals were laid down or not. It was a legal partnership. I would hate for her to be the reason these Soundgarden songs never see the light of day or are messed with by someone other than the band and its chosen producer(s)!!!

It's difficult still after his loss, but I'm very thankful the band has continued working together, and doing their own solo careers. people think a depressed person is a person always sad, that you can tell they are sad because of how they behave on the outside. that isn't depression. depression is something you feel inside. sometimes it overwhelms you and you feel like you can't take it anymore. a depressed person will often put on an act, a fake smile. they may even appear optimistic and excited about their future. this is why I think it was such a shock to people when Chris Cornell killed himself. He actually seemed to be doing great on the outside, but what you see in performances and interviews of him is not the whole picture. he clearly hid his inner struggles and depressed thoughts from the public. though if you look at his songs, it's obvious what he was thinking about. no, he wasn't happy. I think he was an amazing musician, but felt either bored or lost in life. terrible that he's gone. his music still means a lot to me

So what? They were all in a band. Chris is the man who killed himself, no need to take out on his wife. HIs band were too hasty to demand his personal items. Don't blame his own choice to kill himself on his wife. He is dead, and so no one can tell what he wanted other than to die in that moment. Also - now that other aspects have been dealt with in his life, his wife has already said lately that there will be a final soundgarden album, she was not 'with holding' music indefinately, just the band got greedy and impatient. Maybe explains why Chris moved on with his life before, and he did again in death. There was more to Chris than that band, so get over it people. She planned to cooperate just fine in due course.

No, because it’s not hers to keep. Those guys specifically wrote them not just Chris. He was not a solo artist with hired guns. They’ve already laid tracks. Now, what she does have rights to is his personal home recordings and SG’s not asking for that. Heck, his laptop with the masters were with SG and they were nice enough to give that in good faith. They just need the master of his voice. Those songs are already titled, wrote and music. Doesn’t she already have enough money?? Three simultaneous law suits, withholding Lily’s due, etc. If you do some research you’ll discover she’s no stranger to litigation, and has been sued for being a debt beat. Not to mention draining him from invoices through that restaurant and God only knows what else along with those LLCs.

She took the music away from Matt, Kim, She is also sued them for more money. She took control of the Soundgarden Empire, locked them out of there own Social Media account for Soundgarden And the thing that bothers me the most. She stopped paying Child Support for His Oldest Daughter Lily & stopped paying for Lily’s College Education. I think Chris was a Really Great Person, and would be VERY HURT at the actions of his wife Vicki, She seems like a Very Cold Hearted Bitch and I have heard multiple stories about how Horrible She is and was to Chris and that makes me VERY SAD!!
