Rodney, Burnquist, Mark Appleyard, and Chris have been mine since my early skating days. I never saw the appeal of dudes like Bam and Boulala being obnoxious, destructive drunk douchebags. In my experience over the last twenty years, that mentality is why so many skate spots have been ruined. People start fucking up property thinking its funny, and next thing you know police start showing up at these spots all the time. It's exactly what happened in my home town through the early-mid 2000's.

Cole always was and always will be my favorite skater.

Maybe you're trying to spread hate because nobody ever showed you love? Or maybe you're projecting? Hard to say. Saying somebody is stupid for not going to college is like saying a fish is stupid for not climbing a tree. You dont have to go to college to be smart. Intelligence doesn't come from experience, it comes from a willingness to learn. I might know how to make gnocchi but that doesn't make me smarter than you or anyone else.

Right? If we’re going to go the route that the OP is intending then it’d be Chris Cole, Daewon, Haslam, Vallely, Rodney and Tony. That’s gotta be your Mt. Rushmore of skating innovation (albeit two over). Gonz, maybe? I don’t know enough about the 70’s and early 80’s skating to be be able to include any of those guys but I’m sure people like Natas or the Dogtown guys or the like might be up there as well.
