It's such a relief when you hear someone speaking about Michael Jackson in a positive way... And a serious respectful way.

That’s why I love Chris. Many people tend to compare him to Michael Jackson. He always has been supportive and respectful because he KNOWS that he wouldn’t be here without Michael Jackson. He knows himself that he ain’t better haha! I respect Chris for that reason!! Chris MADE IT tho!

You can add Prince Rogers Nelson from Minneapolis, Minnesota to that list and Little Richard the architect of Rock as well and Chuck Berry the real King of Rock'n'roll
The thing that Chris brown has on Michael is his variety of dance styles. He pops, he can break, Krump, contemporary, and he is an acrobat. But when it comes to singing and pure structure of his craft of course Michael Jackson is still on top.
@LeonsCorner.
2 жыл бұрын
Thing is there is alot of people who can dance, we have people who can do back flips and everything Chris can do, (just not sing like him of course), Chris brown is a real entertainer , I've been a fan since his first album, loved everything he has done, I admire him. But what Michael had can not be taught nor replicated, the way his body moved, the way his voice and music transcends time. There is no-one else like mike and there never will be. And Chris knows it, that's why he said what he said.
@ww8407

Michael Jackson did some break and pop. Also MJ could tap dance and do some ballet moves.
@gravediggass
2 жыл бұрын
You have to remember MJ had a variety of styles as well and could emulate any style. You also have to realize eras as well. The social media Era has made dance shift much more rapidly. Also. MJ was a theatrical performer . What I mean by that was each song was like its own play so each time he did those songs it was to be the same time every time and that's what fans expected from him. Chris has routines as well but he also freestyles quite a bit which is cool but also not as put together. You kinda don't know what you're gonna get with Chris so he's not tied to a certain dance. You say moonwalk and immediately think MJ( even though he didn't create it ) why? Because he did routines the same way everytime by design. Hell he even made certain dance moves popular. So much so that you can see someone pretend to be like mj and look nothing like him but identify what they are doing. That's what also made him iconic. Chris should consider doing the same

Thank you Chris for clearing the air about MJ situation. Always have Michael’s back. People keep saying MJ never did back flips or played basketball. First of all, what do athletic have do with Chris being better than Michael. They in two different lanes. If only people go watch Michael performances. Michael created his on dance moves. He's not the King of RnB lfmao 🤣. Not when Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross, R. Kelly, Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat, Usher were there decades before him. And Usher went diamond in PURE SALES with the Confessions album in the US ALONE and 20 million copies ww without no streaming. When it comes to impact, influence (on Chris Brown as well), stats, accolades, acclaim Usher is above Chris Brown. Usher's prime 1997-2004>>>>>>>>> Chris Brown WHOLE career. No shade to Breezy. He's extremely talented but these are FACTS not opinions 🤷🏾♂️. Bobby Brown's Don't be cruel went 8× platinum and is eligible for a diamond certification. R. Kelly's catalog, longevity, production for other greats, impact, influence on an ENTIRE generation of RnB male artists that followed (especially Trey Songz) his unmatched regardless of how we feel about him
Chris is truly talented and humble
