Those guys talking are the people who wrote the song and made the reference track chris is using. Also theyre there to help switch up lyrics if need be. Chris can't hear them due to the booth he's in, they use an intercom to communicate with chris.

Some of my favorite songs by Michael Jackson weren’t even written by him. Take butterflies, for example, that’s Marsha from Floetry’s song. Michael paid her for the song and she even helped him sing it. I really liked the riff and runs towards the end of butterflies and I thought it was Michael, but it was Marsha. She has the original on KZread. Amazing voice.
